I started playing piano when I was five. After decades of playing, I believe that music not only pleases our ears, but it also delights our souls.
Important as it is, music demands more and more young people to dedicate to its development. Therefore, I made up my mind to be a music educator.
Over the years of my experience in performing allows me to deliver the required technique, music knowledge and performance to my students.
In addition to that, I teach student basic music theory and history in our class to ensure them to learn music as a whole.
At present, I provide private tutoring for all needs in the comfort of your own home or in my studio located in Sammamish, Washington State. My current students include people at work, kids and teenagers.
Monica's lesson will find the way to bring the love and passion of music into your daily life.

Monica has been teaching my 5 year old for the past few weeks. She uses a lot of encouraging words, which is what many kids at 4-5-6 years old need. She tunes her pace of teaching based on the kid's pace. She slows down and repeats as many times when my 5 year old gets stuck at any note. She focuses on making sure the child understands the fundamentals. She uses appropriate lesson material and gives interesting take away practice material. Unlike other piano teachers I have encountered, she is well prepared with tailored instruction material for the child. She is punctual, available and flexible. I can go on and on about her. I am very happy that I found the right piano teacher for my child's temperament.

Good experience on our first try of thumbtack. Monica was right on time, and she was very positive and was able to engage our 12 yr old daughter. Now our daughter wants to keep going learning piano with Monica. ��
