I have used this company twice, they are very careful with fragile items, do an excellent job with heavy stuff (washers/furniture) and care about the property. Thank you

Moving All-Stars were indispensable for my move. Preston was very responsive, and was able to schedule two wonderful movers (Dom & Kevan) to load up my portable storage unit. I had only specified a couple larger pieces of furniture and 10-20 boxes, but they did much more, and packed the storage unit efficiently. I highly recommend Moving All-Stars. One thing to suggest - let your customers know ahead of time that paying with a card will cost you an extra fee. Luckily I had my checkbook so I could avoid the extra fee - but it would have been nice to know in case I wasn't prepared.

Budget Hauling is the answer to furniture removal in the city. The 2 man team removed approximately 100 cu.ft. of furniture in under 15 minutes. The quote I was given online, was what I was asked to pay when they arrived. I recommend the friendly, quality services of Budget Hauling.

This was the best moving experience I have ever had! They arrived ahead of schedule, worked so efficiently and were extremely careful with furniture. Not one new scratch or damage!! We had easily over 150 boxes and they were so good about matching the labels to the rooms - which helped me out immensely. The team of three movers were truly the kindest, most respectful and fun team to work with. Michele, the owner, is wonderful to schedule with. Such a conscientious company!! I will be working with Majestic again, absolutely, without hesitation! Thank you!

I have boxes to unpack but I don't have time to write a small novel like they deserve. But I highly recommend this company. If any of my friends or co-workers need a moving company. I'm definitely passing down this companies info. They can early/ move furniture like some true movers (no time for games type of movers lol).. I will be contacted them in one year to move me into my house. I hope their business prosper. Sincerely, Crystal

Not only did they do a great job at packing my furniture, but when making the arrangements for the move, they gave me tips on what supplies I would need and the best place to go buy them. All around I can't say how much they helped from the office to the actual movers themselves.

Leon was on time and very professional. I only had a couple days notice that I was going to have to move some furniture. He responded to my request and was able to come out before the weekend was over. I was so pleased with how he moved my furniture from downstairs to upstairs and vice versa. He took extra care to not ding my walls or scratch my wood floors while moving very heavy furniture. I will hire him again.

Sam responded with a quote to haul some old furniture away. I called him to advise we need a trailer vs. a truck bed. He said no problem and gave me an updated reasonable quote including dump fees. He showed up on Saturday and 5 minutes later was driving off with 3 pieces of furniture plus an old vacuum and toaster oven. Would definitely recommend and hire again.

My review is for a 4-bedroom home move plus outdoor furniture from Edmonds to Seattle. Moving Clique took care of it right and I would refer them to my friends for future moves. The guys listened to all of my preferences and worked efficiently and took great care of my more high end items. They had to work extra hard because I had so much stuff but they did it without hesitation and were positive all the way. The experience was so positive it sure helped take the stress away of moving and starting out in a new neighborhood. Thanks guys!

Hired Local Boys for furniture assembly. Cornelius is a true professional. We had a desk, drafting table, and portable storage cabinet that needed to be assembled. Cornelius arrived right on time and got to work. The items appeared to be even more difficult to assemble than I had anticipated, but it was no problem for him. Sure glad we hired Local Boys. We are extremely satisfied and would hire them again.

Quick response and completion within a short time frame. I had a prior company hired (not from Thumbtack) that agreed to arrive earlier in the week. They simply did not show up at scheduled time and then no response from them at all to find out what happened with no offer to reschedule. I needed these two pieces of furniture moved by the end of the weekend to accommodate out of town guests. Thumbtack vendors provided quick responses and I chose this company since they were ready immediately. More than satisfied with the work, and recommend them.

just moved us from seattle to lummi island, was a great experience working with them. was a few minutes late but they more than made up for it in their very positive attitude and efficient work. they moved a monster piece of furniture (2 piece heavy wooden entertainment center) that made my back hurt watching them move it down 2 flights of stairs and then up 1 flight. final bill was under their estimate. i would recommend them highly! Oh and Craig their estimator does a great Christoper Walken impression.

John and Keanu showed up early and were genuinely friendly. And they handled two pieces of antique furniture *flawlessly.* One had a rickety mirror, which they noticed and were discussing how to handle before I pointed it out to them; the other was one of those ginormous Victorian pieces built like a battleship and about as heavy as one, but with little fragile wood bits all over it that couldn't be grabbed. John and Keanu moved both pieces without damage and apparently without even breaking a sweat. It's now three minutes after the time we set for them to arrive, and they've already gone and I'm admiring the new, non-irritating placement of the furniture. Thanks very much!

Jeno was great. He was able to come the next day and he built 3 pieces of furniture that I probably never would have been able to do alone, plus put my mattress on to the bed, and helped me take two loads of boxes down to the dump. I was able to keep unpaking in another room and it was so helpful. You should definitely use Jeno for your building needs or any unpacking needs. He is great.

James and Carl were great! They came in and went right to work loading furniture and boxes that we had packed up. They worked quickly and efficiently. We would use them again if needed.

Q & A

Answers to commonly asked questions from the experts on Thumbtack.

How much should you tip furniture movers?

Moving furniture is hard work and potentially dangerous unless you’re properly equipped. For anyone not ready to handle their heavy oak armoire alone, professional furniture movers can safely and efficiently move your items to another room in your house or across town as needed. The national average cost to hire heavy furniture movers is $150-$200 per hour. This rate could include multiple furniture movers working as a team to move items such as beds, armoires, billiards tables, pianos, shelves, tables, entertainment centers and more. Hourly rates can vary by region. If your furniture movers have arrived on time, done a great job, kept your home and belongings protected from scratches and dings, and completed the move as planned, a tip will be greatly appreciated. Moving companies suggest approximately 10 percent of the total bill as gratuity for those doing local moving jobs, which is also a good guideline for tipping heavy furniture movers. If the total bill for heavy moving was $100 and two workers were onsite, consider giving them $10 total, or $5 each for a job well done.
