- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes we do. As active and licensed CPAs, we are required to attend continuing professional education classes every year.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
The most common types of engagements we do are tax preparation, tax planning/strategy, accounting and bookkeeping, and part time CFO/Controller services, which include financial modeling and forecasting, budget to actual analysis, and ad hoc reporting.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
A business owner engaged us to review his recent tax return because he believed his tax liability was too high. After reviewing his financial statements, we discovered that his corporation did not contain proper revenue recognition procedures, and as a result over reported a significant amount of taxable income. We adjusted the his books, re-compiled his financial statements, and amended his tax return. Ultimately, we were able to reduce his tax liability by 17%.
