Introduction: I specialize in Five Elements Acupuncture. Its main characteristic is its individualization, which means it does not treat allopathic medical labels, but treats the individual and his or her unique signature symptoms and own way of being out of balance. As a Five Elements Acupuncture Practitioner I work to differentiate the symptoms in order to find the causative factors of an imbalance. This means that two people who suffer from the same condition could receive different treatments. More than that, a medicine with this level of refinement require us to cultivate self-awareness during the treatment process and to go deeper inside ourselves to find new potential for our own healing. I enjoy working with people, sharing with them the knowledge of this ancient medicine and helping them improve their health and their lives.

I did a good number of acupuncture sessions a few years ago for my back and I've been back pain free since then. This time I decided to try it because I've discovered that I'm allergic to cats. I went in with an open mind and, to be honest, with relatively high expectations. The process was simply amazing. Ioana (the acupuncturist) made me feel very comfortable and relaxed. The first session was very long, and we discussed about a lot of facts around my allergy and my health in general. She was very patient and thorough. During the needling a felt instantly better! I was so relieved and happy, almost unsure that I wasn't imagining it. The relief hold even after I got home. It was nothing short of a miracle for me. This is my 4th session and I'm very happy that my allergy is gone after these treatments (It has a tendency to come back after a few weeks around the cat). Will definitely go back for more treatments. Can't recommend it high enough.

I strongly recommend Inner Harmony Acupuncture. Excellent first time experience. Ioana Todoran is an excellent acupuncturist, very experienced, caring and gentle. She did wonders for my pinched nerves problem in my upper back. It was a very relieving experience and I will surely come back.
