We hired Chris for a garage remodel project. Our house was built in 1924. The drywall and framing were in really bad shape. He was really knowledgeable & professional. When we first met for a quote, he helped us identify places for improvement and offered lots of insights about old houses. He installed all new drywall, insulation, ceiling, framing, and concrete step. He even helped us move an outlet that was at an odd spot. Since he finished the project slightly early, he offered to paint the entire garage for us. Chris takes pride in his high quality work. We highly recommend him.

Chris and Joe are a couple honest, hard working guys who want to leave you happy with their final product. When I initiated communication with them via the app, they quickly responded and arrived promptly at the scheduled time. We had multiple dry wall cracks in our house. They guaranteed a complete fix of the cracks, vs. a quick patch job, which what was done previously and the reason why it re-cracked. When providing the quote, they were clear that they don't choose the paint and leave that up to the owner to provide. Now I know why. I had to get multiple paints custom mixed at Lowes and none of they were a perfect match. This meant there was a visible difference on the paint over the crack fix vs. the rest of the wall. With that said, my one takeaway is to just let these guys quote for a complete paint job over the wall affected. It will be slightly more pricey, but look at lot better. Don't know a lot about paint? Express that to the guys and they will guide you in what type of paint to get! Trust them, they aren't trying to upsell you, only recommending what will look best. We ended up making optimizations to our dry wall project while it was going on, but it would have been a smoother and quicker process if we had agreed to a more comprehensive quote from the very beginning. I'm pleased with the work done and they were very respectful about keeping things tidy and leaving the house looking as it was before (meticulous hanging of plastic, masking, sweeping, and returning items as they were). One item I want to particularly applaud them on is how receptive they were to my questions and candid feedback. They have integrity in their work and genuinely want to leave the customer satisfied. They guaranteed their work and encouraged me to reach out if there was any issues.

Here's how things went for my job: - Missed two scheduled appointments to get a quote without letting me know so I rescheduled my work meetings twice for no reason. I left an early 1-star review because of this (which I am updating now). - When Carlos arrived, we were able to come to a reasonable agreement on the job/price with good turnaround (the next day for a several hour job for 2 people). - Carlos arrived almost an hour after the scheduled time and didn't let me know. - Two of Carlos' guys did most of the work and did a great job. - Didn't notice before they left but they left behind a piece of wood between concrete slabs and I wasn't able to get it out, so I let Carlos know but didn't get a response to help get it out so it's still there. - Chris called me to update my original 1 star review I left earlier based on no-shows and at that time I also let him know about the piece of wood that remained and he said he'd talk to Carlos but I haven't heard anything since. Summary: Good work, reasonable price but poor communication/professionalism. I think this team has a lot of potential if they can improve their communication. I understand delays and needing to reschedule but please just tell me ASAP so I can replan my time accordingly. Also, I would expect them to come remove the wood stuck between concrete slabs or suggest a way to do it since I don't have the tools to do it myself.

Everyone is different and every job is. I go in listening to the customer, give them ideas if needed, measure the job do my bidding, and hope you like what I have to offer.

I went to south Seattle college for 4 years to graduate from the union schooling. I did all of the union schoolings and I am a journeymen union taper. Also the past 20 years of on the job training.
