We first called West Seattle Electric out to install some LED can lights in our kitchen and living room, and they rocked, so we ended up having them do a bunch more work for us. They put in LED strip lights in our closets so now we can actually see in them; motion sensors in our laundry room and basement so we aren't fumbling for light switches or tumbling down stairs; and swapped out our kitchen receptacles for GFIs so we're legal and up to code. The install team was really professional and polite. They were great about answering our admittedly numerous questions, and they came up with some additional solid suggestions but we never once felt pressured on an upsell. When we are ready to move forward on more work we're definitely going to be calling these folks first.

Ryan and his team were AMAZING to work with! My loft remodel had wires coming from all directions and was overwhelming to any other electrician that came to price out the job. (And even to my 79 year old Dad who used to be an electrician!) I needed to rewire and change my kitchen and loft space completely, various new lighting locations, plug ins moved around, bathroom fan rewired, new stove, oven and refrigerator rerouted, rewired and set up, centering and wiring a chandelier hanging 12 feet up on my ceiling, etc. They were on time, efficient, and did the job in 1/3 amount of time and price that the other two electricians who I received bids from said it should take and cost. It was a really easy and stress free experience. Everyone I worked with at West Seattle Electric (Ryan, Scott and Mark) were extremely knowledgeable, patient and straight forward communicating professionals, as we discussed the pros and cons on all the options for each situation. I will ONLY recommend West Seattle Electric and already have to everyone I know. Because of the outstanding and positive experience I had with West Seattle Electric, I am currently re-evaluating my experience with my current contractor and now hold any professional I work with on my loft remodel to the same professional and amazing level West Seattle Electric delivered. If you want straight forward, efficient, knowledgeable and get it done right, West Seattle Electric is the place to go!

We had West Seattle Electric out to move our breaker box and upgrade the power out to our garage. Overall the experience went very well. Mark and Darrell were very professional and did quality work. They even accommodated some additional requests while they were there such as extending a power cord on a table saw. The only hiccup during the process is that they did not schedule enough days for the work needed. An estimated 2 day job ended up taking 3 weeks due to a loaded schedule, unanticipated issues inherent with an old house, and a stickler of a city inspector. Still I would recommend them to anyone looking for an electrician and we plan to use them in the future if we have any further needs.

Details: New Installation • Circuit breaker panel with switches • Garage • Yes, but I would like to discuss with the professional first • House
