I loved our artist. She face painted for about an hour then balloon twisted for an hour at my son's 3rd birthday. She was punctual and super friendly, and did a great job as an artist. 100% satisfied, thank you!

Only one artist was sent to the event leaving small children to wait in line 30-40 mins to get their faces painted, no further explanation needed. Although we had agreed on no "full face paint" some kids were able to and then when the event was beginning to wrap up (last 1/2hr), she was rushed and the last 10 kids in line didn't receive what they wanted due to time. I suppose I should have been more clear with instructions, however, with that said the quality of the artist's work was nice.

Kirsten, I'm sorry I wasn't clear that you were interested in hiring more than one artist. That sure would have been an easy fix if you had asked us for multiple artist. I'm not sure where the 30-40 min wait time came from? I also finished everyone in line and gave a cut off time so I could stay within the time frame you had hired me for. I'm always happy to stay for longer if approved by the client but since there wasn't a contact person on site to approve my stay that did not seem like an option. In the future I'll clarify that in my emails with clients to avoid this. Thanks for bringing it to my attention. Thank you for the compliment on my work. Please let me know if there is anything else I can do to make your experience even better if we have the opportunity to earn your business in the future. Best, Sarah

So amazing Sarah Rugh is the best! She is easy to book, flexible about location and party theme. Good with all ages of kids! Love booking her for small events with 5-10 kids and large events for 300 she does it ALL!

The face painter did more chatting with the kids than actually painting their faces. She informed us that we had 15 min. left due to only being booked for an hour. She offered to stay longer if I was to pay her cash and not tell the owner of the company, Sarah Rugh,(basically asking to be paid under the table). I let her know we had two more girls who needed their face painted, and we would certainly pay for any overage in time, however, would be paying the overage through my credit card left on file with the company (Face Paint Seattle). I had gone to check on other activities for our party, in which time the mother of the last two little girls had informed me that the face painter packed up and left; telling the two girls she was only paid for an hour so ..."I'm outta here". Very embarassing. Three points: 1.) If she was more efficient/productive and less chatter, or even if she was able to paint while talking...she would have been done with all the kiddos, & had time left over. 2.) If I would have had cash to pay the overage, she would have stayed. 3.) How embarassing to announce that she was only paid for an hour, so she was "outta there"; with absolutely no tact! Dissapointing.

Alison, This is so unfortunate. My heart breaks reading this review. Since your review this employee has been fired and is no way affiliated with my company or any of our events. You are absolutely correct that these actions were tactless and that is not how we handle business. I've reached out in countless ways to make right any wrongs on your account. Please let me know how we can repair the damage here and I'm happy to put in the effort. Best, Sarah

Sarah was great with the kids. She is simply amazing. She manages to juggle all of these kids, do some amazing designs on their faces, and keep her cool throughout. I highly recommend the balloon animals as an option if you book her for your party. The kids were awestruck. It was such a great combo and really made our party!
