Introduction: One aspect of my wedding photography style that customers really seem to love is that I try to capture moments outside of the normal flow of the event. I'm very much an observational photographer, and I try not to insert myself into the proceedings except when necessary. Your special day should be about more than getting every combination of your family members into posed shots, and that's really what I try to convey to prospective clients.

Christopher is an amazing photographer. He thinks on his feet, captures natural light and is a wonderful (if quiet) addition to any wedding. We presented a difficult venue - an indoor/outdoor wedding space that went from bright, summer light to moody indoor lighting. Christopher captured amazing shots under both conditions. Christopher also rolled with the punches. I asked him to try to avoid wedding poses for fear they would interrupt the flow of the festivities. I know this makes it hard on a photographer but Christopher took excellent shots. He ended up capturing many special and private moments both between me and my sweetheart and our wedding guests. We look forward to using Christopher for photographing our future little one's...

Christopher is very cool and great to work with. Does fantastic work. We love our wedding photos. Very professional. Great guy. 5 out of 5 dentists would probably recommend him. I would definitely refer him to a friend. (Disclaimer: I am not a dentist though) -TheRealMrsOsborn

I needed head shots done for an application in Germany. Christopher was exactly what I was looking for. Uncomplicated, local, responsive to ideas, and attended to the shoot with a charm that made it look simple. Photos were great, and when I asked for a re-crop of one of them he responded. I would definitely go to him again for photographic needs, he's a great person to work with!

Christopher was our photographer for our wedding last August in Volunteer Park. He did a very nice job, preparing for the event to make sure he got to know us (and somewhat the ceremony + guests), on the day with our private photos and the ceremony pictures (he even stayed longer without charging us), and afterwards, giving us a sneak peek before all the photos, allowing us to give some feedback and working with that. As for the quality of the photos, I don't think we could be happier - Christopher really has a good eye, catching very sweet moments and interesting angles. We can only recommend Christopher as a photographer!

Christopher did a great job with our Wedding pictures. We had a complicated lighting setup in our venue that made it tough, but he did a great job and we really loved the result. He was prompt, delivered as promised and did a good job navigating our hectic day.

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

My rates work on a sliding scale basis, depending on the scope of the work and the client's requirements. For portraiture, especially photography for families, I really try to aim for affordability.

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

I do portraiture such as family and child photography, event photography, as well as small-scale commercial work.

  • Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I had the opportunity to shoot action shots of the famous fishmongers at Pike Place Fish, which needless to say, was a lot of fun. The guys were awesome to work with, and we got some marvelous photos for their website (pikeplacefish.com).
