Overall great experience from the initial professional introductions to the finished product.Jan 30, 2018VerifiedJim M.'s reply
Aw - thanks, Kathleen! Much appreciated!! - Jim
Jim was a pleasure to work with! I appreciated his flexibility and relaxed style of shooting. We were working with squirmy toddlers as the subject of the shoot and Jim was able to capture images that highlighted both the product and the emotion of the scene. An overall great experience for all involved.Mar 22, 2018VerifiedJim M.'s reply
Thanks so much, Carrie! Pleasure to work with you as well. I look forward to working with you again. Best, Jim

Jim did a great job taking headshots for me. He made me feel comfortable in front of the camera and quickly returned high quality retouched finals. Highly recommended!Jan 20, 2018Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Photography, the needs of my customers and the range of offerings I provide make a firm pricing structure impossible.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? It's incredibly important to take my time and make sure I listen to the needs of my clients so I can deliver what they need. The process varies wildly, from in depth creative meetings, pre-production and photo briefs, to a simple phone call before we shoot. The consistent part is being a good listener.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?My biology degree was largely a waste, but I still know what mitochondria are. I am mostly a self-taught photographer, with a ton of course work, workshops and professional training stretching back to the mid 90's.
