I am so pleased with Danika Plumbing on Friday, July 13th :( we discovered that we had water pooling in our front yard. Danika Plumbing came out to assess the damage they had a small fee to come out and assess the issue. The fee was very reasonable. I was terribly stressed at what the plumbers were going to tell me needed to be done. The plumbers informed me the worst information I was expecting to hear that our water main between the street and house was leaking. Danika plumbing explained to me all my options and they varying costs. I chose to have the water main line replaced which was approximately 56ft from the street to the house. Danika quoted me a price that again was very reasonable for the job that needed to be done. The plumbers that came out were very honest with me about my options. Danika took a step above the rest and notified me that some previous plumbers we had out to fix a leak under our house that the other plumbers used very cheap materials. We had Danika fix the plumbing from the previous plumbers as well. We will definitely have Danika Plumbers back to fix other plumbing issues.
I was able to schedule an appointment next day. All other plumbers I called either never returned my call or was scheduling a week out. He arrived on time. Provided assessment and fixed problem quickly.
James is a great and friendly guy, he was very competent and skilled in his trade and honest. If you are looking for a great plumber which is also one of good guys, James is your man.
They were excellent at their job. Arrived on time and fixed the plumbing leading to the dishwsher. My go to plumbers from now and onwards.
Vs. other plumbers, Gil was straight and honest, instead of coming over and charging me on fixing a shower valve, on the phone, he sent me to home depot first to go replace the valve cartridge. which fixed my problem. I love it when an expert up front tries to truly help you and tells you what the problem might be, vs. try to trick you into fixing something bigger than what you needed. Gil, you have a new fan. Thanks, Z.
Enrique immediately pinpointed the problem of my leak, offered to run over to Lowes right away to get the necessary materials, came back and fixed it. considering we've had plumbers out multiple times to try to fix the issue, I am extra impressed and grateful.
Art responded to my request for help with a leaky toilet. It had been installed improperly during the construction of my new house, and the construction plumbers had come back to fix it, but were incompetent! Art came out and at my request installed a flange extender kit which solved the problem of the original flange being installed too low. He was very professional and got the job done. He cleaned up after the project, and after the caulking dried, no leaks. I will ask Art to work on projects at my home as needed in the future. Thanks, Art!
Aaron was quick to come by our place and evaluate our plumbing. We are looking to have either pipe bursting or a pipe liner put in for our entire system. Out of all the plumbers that came out, Aaron was the most professional and responsive. His estimate was within reason, but also paired with great customer service. I would absolutely recommend Aaron and his company.
I highly recommend using Chris for any of your plumbing needs! He was extremely responsiveness and truly helped me diagnose the root problem of my plumbing issue! All of the other plumbers said I need to replace my entire faucet (which was a unique, expensive piece). He immediately went to work trying to find a replacement part and found one. He also did some investigative work to determine the water pressure is 40 to 45 psi higher than max by Plumbing Code (throughout my entire condo building). This was the reason for the faucet leak and for my toilet issue as well. I was extremely appreciative for how thorough he was. I would look no further if you ever have a plumbing need!!
John was great. He answered his phone (which isn't always the case when looking for help), came out right away to provide an estimate (some people wanted to provide it online without even seeing the job) and he came back to complete the job in a timely manner. He was personable, easy to work with, and engaged in a conversation with my husband to explain the situation and the approach he would take. And, on top of all of that - very competitive in pricing. We've now found our plumber if we ever need services again, and will refer him to our friends and family the next time someone asks....Does anyone know a plumber?
Good job keeping me updated on plumbers progress to our house.
I’ve worked with so many plumbers over the years where it seems that selling me something I don’t need is their number one priority. How refreshing to work with these guys! He listened to me, diagnosed the problem quickly, found the parts he needed, and fixed my leaking toilet really fast. And the price was totally reasonable. I hardly ever leave reviews, but I’d really like to spread the word on how much I appreciated the job they did... (plus we called them again when we needed to replace our hot water tank. Same story! Very professional and got us up and running quickly) They really are the best!
Larry is a very reasonable plumber and did great work! I recommend hiring him and getting your plumbing needs met at a reasonable rate.
Robert from Big Jerry's was "Johnny-on-the-spot." Technically I guess he was "Robert-on-the-spot." Anyway, mere hours after noticing my water heater had a leak, using the Thumb Tack app and getting a quote from Big Jerry's Plumbing I was back in business with a new, installed water heater. Robert and his son explained what they were doing and answered all of my questions. The water heater itself cost a bit more than quoted. The install, to my understanding, comes with a one year warranty on the work should I need a plumber to come out for issues related to the new water heater. The water heater itself has a six year manufacturer warranty. I plan to use Big Jerry's in the future when I am ready to get an outside faucet bib replaced. I highly recommend for your plumbing needs.
Leslie and Pamela are honest people who did not try to over charge like most of the plumbers that quoted me on thumbtack. He quoted me for a two hour job to replace my disposal, but I asked if could also replace my faucet since he was already here. He waited for my wife to run to Home Depot to get the faucet. He did not charge me any more that the original quote since he finished the work in the two hours which he originally quoted for.
We hired Scott after many failed attempts to hire out several other local plumbers. I came in with my expectations and bar set low. Scott is awesome- and not because I had my bar low! He has been punctual, professional, kind, thorough and the most important of all of them- honest. I would hire him again and would happily refer him to my neighbors and friends. He is great. Highly recommend!
Toilet clog was successfully cleared
Our water heater decided to go out on us Saturday evening. We have had it for 22 years and it reached its life span. I tried to shut off the water to the tank and that broke as well. So, it leaked all night and flooded our laundry room the next morning. I called Ally Plumbing and they sent Joe out to give us an estimate. He also capped the pipe where the valve broke. The next morning Joe showed back up to take out the old water heater and install the new one. He was friendly and worked hard. I spent most of the time watching him and asked questions. He was very patient and explained the process and ways to make the new one last for many years. He was finished by noon and I was very pleased with his work. I have finally found an honest and reliable plumber and plumbing company.
I had an excellent experience with Darren from Treharne Plumbing. I need to upgrade my drain lines for a remodel and moving the kitchen sink and clothes water onto the bathroom drain system. The drain consisted of cast iron and galvinized pipe. I thought that the 4" Cast Iron was going to have to be modified but Darren thought we could get by and upgrade the galvinized pipe to 2" ABS and pulled out his code book that he had in the truck to verify. Several other plumbers that came over to bid on my project came the same conclusion which saved me alot of money in plumbing cost. Darren gave me a bid the next day and after all of the bids were in, his was the lowest and but also complete with no lose ends. I schedule Darren to come out several weeks later as i was replacing the water lines myself and needed to get some work done before replacing the drain lines. Darren called to say he was going to be an hour late, which I could understand as it was snowing outside. Once he arrived he went quickly to work getting all the parts in place. I needed to leave to do some shopping and he took a break to pull a permit before he started the actual work. When I came back home, he was waiting for me and let me know that the city let him put his work on my water line permit and saved me another $134 in permitting fees. He finished the rough-in in about 4 hours and filled the system and notifed the city for inspection the next day. The inspector showed up the next morning and everything passed inspection and I called Darren to scheduled him to finish the project. He said he was near by and would be over in 30 minutes to complete the project. He was over on time and connected everything and all was my plumbing was funtional a little over 24 hours after he started. I am very happy with Darren from Treharne Plumbing and will ask him to bid on other projects I have in the future.
I am very experienced! And give honest and give a clean service!
