I've had 2 massages by William Whitacre, and both were very good. He is very professional, friendly, easy to work with, and he will work with you. He asks how you want a massage: do you need deep tissue work? Do you want a lot of firm pressure or light? Do you have any particular spots that are hurting? He takes a lot of pride in his work-he has a passion for it and he really wants to help you! My first massage I had some lower back pain and a very tight Psoas muscle and he was able to reduce the back pain and release the tightness in the Psoas. I had many massage therapists work on me over the yrs. and many of them just wasn't able to get to the Psoas, but Bill was able to. Another great advantage of working with Bill is that he is a mobile massage therapist, and I didn't have to drive to his office-he came to my home. I saved time and money by him coming to my home. He has a modern massage table and he is very clean. He cleans and disinfects the table right in front of you before he puts on the very clean sheets and blanket; that is the first massage therapist that I had seen do that. I would highly recommend him! I would rate him 4.5 stars. Peter S.
Jessica was great! The location was very easy to find. Off of Military and Spanaway Loop aka Steel St. She got right down to the most obvious knotted muscles and slowly yet surely eased the muscle tension and pain. I have been to my far share of massage therapist and she is one of the best! Think I even fell asleep a couple of times. Afterward my husband wanted to go too. And he was amazed by how much she reminded him of our old massage therapist. We look forward to seeing Jessica again in the near future.
An Amazing experience...My husband and I just moved into the area and needed an at home massage therapist to care for our aching muscles...Laura came to our rescue. Laura was professional, intune with our individual needs, and had a pleasant personality. Definitely going to need to experience again.
I really love Jamila. She is such a sweet lady and is very professional. She has a very nice technique and gives a good therapeutic deep tissue massage. She has a very fluid gentle touch and is very calming and easy to talk to. I would definitely recommend her to anyone who's looking for a massage therapist that likes deep pressure. I can't wait for my next massage.
Kevin does a different technique that's different from most massage therapists. I find it pretty helpful for my chronic neck problems. It's also incredibly helpful and less stressful since he travels to your location and his hours are much more flexible than conventional massage therapists that only work core hours. His equipment is very good quality and he brings soothing music and speakers. Also a very nice guy!
There should be a 10 star option for Tyler! Great communication, very professional, and extremely knowledgable. Tyler knows his craft well. I was a licensed Massage Therapist in another state and am very selective. I highly recommend him and will only be using his massage services from now on. Thank you Tyler!
Summary for the impatient: I have had dozens of massages over the years, and this was best massage Ive ever had. Really. . Many times I have lain atop a poorly laundered, oily sheet and been slathered with massage oils infused with aroma-therapeutic herbs that simultaneously invigorated/soothed my tired/tense spirit (rendering me aromatherapeuticly bipolar :-)). I generally left those massages just feeling greasy. In traditional Thai massage, no oil is used and the client wears loose comfortable clothing. Each massage begins with a clean and oil free sheet spread across a single bed sized foam pad. IMHO, Thassanee Cross is no average massage practitioner; shes a massage therapist. She was trained twice: once at Wat Po (a respected school in Thailand, where she later served as an instructor) and again in Washington state (due to international certification bureaucracy). The diminutive Mrs. Cross is incredibly strong and adroitly varies her technique between gentle/superficial and so deep she could be massaging bone. She thoughtfully checked with me several times to make sure I was happy with the intensity. Traditional Thai massage incorporates passive stretching where the therapist positions the body and gently stretches major muscle groups (think yoga for lazy people). After muscles have been warmed by her manipulation, it is the optimal time to stretch them. Thai massage leaves my muscles feeling refreshed and revitalized. Relevant medical background: 25 years ago I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, which causes uncomfortable muscle tension and pain. Ive been getting a weekly massage for the past year or so, and after only a few sessions, my physical therapist and neurologist noticed and commented on the positive changes in my flexibility, mobility, and posture.
Jenny exceeded all my expectations. I came to Jenny with a special need. I have been having lymphatic swelling in my leg. Finding a quality massage therapist can be challenging. Over the past week, we have sent notes back and forth. When I arrived at her office I found that Jenny had done additional research to give me the best possible session. I will be rescheduling and referring new clients to Jenny. She is very professional, listens and has a very relaxing office.
I had been receiving treatments from Marcus for about a year when I was introduced to Reiki. I was hooked then. Took his level 1-2 courses and about a year later I was attuned Reiki Master Teacher by Marcus. That was 11 years ago. He continues to be my mentor in the areas of Reiki and Massage, as I am also a Massage Therapist. Marcus' curriculum as I remember it covers all the basic Reiki practices and energy hygiene which I believe is very important in this work. I highly recommend this course. Namaste. Wonderful experience working with Katie. She is an excellent massage therapist and consummate professional. Worked magic getting the knots out of my back. Will happily schedule another appointment with her in the future.
I've had several treatments with Jen and each one is catered to my needs whether it's massage, cupping or energy work. She blends it all beautifully and seems to know just what my body needs! I always leave feeling much better than when I arrived. Highly recommend!!
I started training with Tim Koffler 8 years ago, yes, EIGHT years ago. Before, I had worked with others trainers, but Tim proved to be the best by far. He introduced exercises that I did not think i'd be capable of doing. He encouraged me to go for them and I learned how to trust him and his judgement. Tim changed the routines all the time to keep me challenged, prevent boredom and see the results I wanted. I can honestly say I would not be in the shape I'm in without Tim. He is demanding and creative. He is always ready with new ideas; always willing to adjust workouts. He has an eye for my strengths and weaknesses (of which there are quite a few). Training is not always fun, but Tim knows that. He is patient when it seems necessary, supportive and very knowledgeable. A few years ago, Tim also became a Licensed Massage Therapist. That extra knowledge of the body and its functions is priceless. He can "diagnose" problems during training; give expert advice and he offers massage therapy if needed. I love the workout sessions with Tim. He pushes me harder than I would ever do myself. He is easy going and reliable and became a good friend after all these years. A great trainer like Tim is such a pleasure. It's a commitment I made to stay healthy and in shape; and it's a commitment on his side, too. I will continue training with him as long as I'm able to lift a 2-pound dumbbell!
Gabe is a fantastic massage therapist
Shawn is the Massage Therapist you hope to find. His long medical career gives him a level of knowledge far beyond massage training. His touch is firm, sure, effective......also gentle and relaxing. What a treasure. I feel wonderful after a session with Shawn.
Julie is one of the two best massage therapists I've ever been to. I've been a client of hers for over two years now, and fully intend to be one for as long as possible.
Iris seriously works magic on on sore achy muscles. She genuinely cares about her clients needs and adjusts accordingly. I’ve never been comfortable with getting massages by anyone until her. She has a very comfortable energy that just sets you at ease. I can not sing her praises enough! I swear this woman has magic hands or something, because I have had other massage therapists work on me and no one....I mean no one makes my back feel like ‘butta’, but she does EVERY time! I’m never disappointed, only that it’s over lol.
I've been to a few massage therapists and I have to say that my massage with Shanda Whitney was by far the most effective for my needs. She knows her work, seems to love it and is eager to do what's best for her clients! I will be back!
Jess has magic hands! She has been working on helping me alieve chronic muscle pain and spasms through natural means including massage and stretches. She knows how to expertly find the trigger points and work them into submission. Her massages are not only therapuetic but relaxing as well. Love the essential oils that she utilizes in her aromatherapy massages. I cannot speak highly enough of Jess, her talent, and her work ethic. She is a massage therapists that actually listens to your needs!!
Can't say enough. This was by far my best massage therapy session I have ever had! responsive and attentive to my needs and the issues to be addressed, adjusted pressure and intensity as needed. Professional, knowledgeable and skilled! Well worth it and will continue to work with him!
