- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was lucky to discovered by Béke Beau - one of the most talented, award-winning, best rated make-up artists in the Philadelphia/New York area, the apprentice of Laura Geller. In a flash I've become her senior make-up artist and was plunged into the wonderful world of make-up, fashion and art, meeting amazing clients, collaborating with terrific photographers, stylists, vendors, working fabulous make-up shows and making life-long friendships.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I would not expect my customer to know exactly what they want. Most of the time people naturally tend to re-create the looks they like which won't necessarily suit them. My job is to marry the wish and the reality and to ensure the outcome is flawless. Regardless of the occasion, location or time-frame I am there to create, adjust and make sure the environment is calm and stress-free and my customer is happy and glowing.
