I am a licensed full time hair and make up artist who is very passionate about all things beauty and have worked in this industry for over 10 years. My main focus is helping my guests feel confident, beautiful, and their absolute best for all their special occasions! I love being able to take the stress of having to feel put together off my guests hands and letting them be fully in the moments and enjoying their special events. Getting your hair and make up done can be very intimidating and I make sure every guest leaves feeling beautiful but also still theirselves at the same time. Too long....but for your sake...DO READ!!! Only cause there's so many amazing things I could say about Amanda!! The better forces that be knew what I needed...and helped me find (and obsess over her IG account)...because I know deep down I am happier with my whole entire experience with Amanda than I would have been with anyone else. Amanda has a true deep down gut instinct of what you want/need. During my trial, after seeing a few 'example' photos, she asked maybe 3-5 questions, but those 3-5 questions were all it took to know me, know what I wanted, know my true inner self and what I wanted/needed/would tolerate for my wedding hair. Amanda has a gift that can't be taught...it can only come from a true passion, love and care for the person as a person. We fine-tuned things on my wedding day after I said maybe 10 words... I swear she read my mind...and she made my inner vision an absolute perfect reality. Amanda is the type of person that you instantaneously want to make your new BFF. She is genuine, real and just absolutely awesome! Amanda... I've never felt more heard, felt and seen than I did with you. And I've never felt more amazing and beautiful than I did after you worked your magic. You made my wedding vision a reality....a reality even I didn't know I wanted/needed...and I felt like the entire time you were reading my mind. Amanda's responsiveness (in speed and thoroughness) was impeccable. After Amanda did my hair/makeup for an event, I was so impressed that I hoped she was available for my wedding two weeks later. For both events, Amanda arrived early to set-up, had her own lights ready in the case the room had poor lighting, and was a warm professional who genuinely strives to help her clients feel beautiful & comfortable. She adjusted to both environments seamlessly. I don't have a lot of eyelid space and was hesitant about false lashes overwhelming my eyes; Amanda is a true artist and knew what to do. She was never paternalistic with her recommendations. Even when I was unsure about what look I wanted, Amanda knew which options to offer and worked with me until my look felt true to who I am. My makeup stayed on after crying from laughter and happy tears. The curls in my hair turned into waves that lasted 2-3 days after each event. Additionally, my usually-sensitive skin didn't react to any of the products she used. I'll definitely be turning to Amanda for any big events in the future!

Working with Amanda made my wedding day even more special. She was a pro at both hair and makeup, but also making me feel at ease and having fun! She made me feel incredibly beautiful for my elopement, and I couldn't have been happier with how the look turned out. It was such a fun experience that I'm having her do my hair and makeup for my friend's wedding in a few months! I could not recommend working with Amanda more- she does amazing work and is fun to work with- the total package.

Amanda was wonderful from start to finish (and beyond). I had a giant group of bridesmaids and she not only took the booking, but gracefully and SO skillfully made it through all 9 of us. We were finished up in our time frame, each person who got makeup done by Amanda has reached out to me and expressed that it is their favorite make up they've had done in all the weddings they've been in (two even said they loved their makeup from Amanda more than their own actual wedding day makeup!!). Amanda was amazing! Not only was she a beautiful person, she made me look and feel beautiful on my wedding day. My hair and makeup was flawless and lasted all day into the night. I typically don’t wear much makeup and am always a little nervous to get it professionally done in case it’s too much. Amanda made all those worries go away and everything turned out better than I could have ever hoped or imagined.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
-Travel fees, valet fees, toll fees, ferry fees, etc. will be added to the total charge -$750 Minimum booking (service booking only) -Bridal hair and makeup package start at $700 also comes with "touch up" beauty bag -Bridal party services prices start at $150 -Photoshoot prices start at $500
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I come to the location specified, set up, have a consultation of what looks we will be going for that day (having pictures of things you like are amazing before hand), start services. After all services are finished, I confirm with you of the over all look feels great/last minute touch ups, pack up all my supplies and then I am on my way out of your way!
How did you get started doing this type of work?
My mother and most of the women in my family are stylist or in the beauty industry.
