Introduction: Welcome to Interstate Mckinzie Movers. We are a family-owned business licensed and bonded, based in Tacoma WA since 2016. We are household moving and deliveries for local and long distance moves. Apartments / Houses/ Office spaces/ Seniors / Heavy items. *Furniture assemble & dissemble *Pack & Unpack *Load & Unload *Transport. Starting time begins when our movers arrive at your first location. The end time is when we complete the job at the final location. • Our hourly rate: • 1 mover + 1 Dolly + 20ft truck - $120/hr • 2 Movers + 2 Dollies + 20 ft truck -$170/hr • 3 movers + 3 Dollies + 20 ft truck -$195/hr • 4 Movers + 4 Dollies + 20 ft truck -$220/hr - We charge 3.9% transaction fee for debit/credit card transactions. • Our service includes: - 100 Protection blankets - Unlimited plastic wrap - Unlimited Tape - 8 Large Wardrobe Boxes - 40 Straps - 1 Hand Truck - Tools - Running Carpet (floor protection) • We require a 2-day notice to insure our availability. • We require 3 hours minimum work • We offer free estimates & walkthroughs. • We offer 5% discount for cash payment.

I had a wonderful experience with Mckinzie Movers from beginning to the end. I reached out to a few other moving companies here at Thumbtack before I contacted Mckinzie, and my experience with other companies wasn't very good. One company quoted way more than they advertised, another gave me one availability and next day informed me they are not available and to choose a different day. Some took forever to respond to a simple query. With Mckinzie I was charged the same amount as I was quoted which was a plus and they were very quick to respond and finalize things, I was able to set up a time very quickly with them and on a very short notice too. They helped me with my move and also helped me dump some old furniture for a small cost. Muhammad and the other fellow who I am forgetting name of were very friendly as well and you could tell they enjoy doing what they do. They very safely transferred items to my new apartment. Also wrapped my mattress before moving it so to avoid any damage, without any additional cost. The move was done within two hours start to end. All in all, I am never going to consider any other moving company as long as I am here in Greater Seattle Area. The experience they provide and at the cost they provide that experience is unbeatable by a fair margin.

Muhammad and another gentleman (unfortunately I didn’t find out his name) were incredible yesterday! They wrapped all of our furniture pieces, stacked boxes with care and upon arrival of our destination took a lay of the land. They understood where all the rooms were and placed boxes based on their labels. When they didn’t know they always asked. They were kind, courteous and friendly during our 5 hour interaction. During these uncertain times they wore a mask and gloves the entire time which we appreciated but I know must have been tough with the amount of activity and the heat of the day. Overall this has been our best and easiest move to date without a single piece damaged, thank you thank you.

The movers arrived about 30 minutes later than I scheduled. However, I wasn't in rush so it worked out fine. They clocked the time a few minutes after they arrived (giving me extra time), and they were very fast and handy. For one bedroom apartment, it took about 2.5 hrs (1.5 hrs for loading, 1 hr for unloading). I was very happy that the movers worked very efficiently and tried to finish the work within 3 hrs. I don't find any dings or scratches on my furniture after. Also, the movers were friendly and I was comfortable working with them. I would highly recommend hiring them again for my next move. Thank you.

Our movers from Interstate Mckinzie Movers were great. Appreciated the work done. They were professional and did a great job with our moving furniture from an apartment into our new home. We have not noticed any issues on the furniture or on the walls from the move, which is greatly appreciated. Thanks again for all of your hard work!
