- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We charge a flat rate. We do not want our customers to not know how much they will be "anticipating" on paying. We want them to know. The owner from her personal experience, experienced this issue when she moved in the past and wanted to ensure there was transparency with her customers. The owner sometimes will provide discounts to the customers and is willing to negotiate at times. We understand moving is a need and not a want at times. The owner understands and wants to be fair.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We want to get to know you and your needs. We want to know where you are moving, how much stuff you have, etc. We will take a security deposit of $300 to ensure you on the calendar with us. We will call you the day before to confirm your appointment. The movers will call you when they are 30 minutes away to arriving to your destination. The movers will do a walk-thru of the location and then load everything on the truck. Once they arrive to the new destination. Once they are almost finished unloading at the new location, the driver will collect the payment from the customer while the other workers are unloading. The customer will be provided with a receipt of the move.
