Ben was outstanding - showed up promptly, addressed all of my problems (connecting peripherals - and securing WiFi network), got everything working, and even updated my operating system, which was an unexpected bonus -Yee haw! I will call him again for any related need - great value.
Changing from old electric range to new gas range & needed 110 vs the current 220 outlet. Electrician was on time; friendly and efficient. He did have to leave to go get a part, but it didn't cause the job to go over the 2 hour minimum pricing. I would have preferred he replace the old wires, as I'd been told by someone that leaving old 220 wired and adding 110 outlet can cause issues; however, he assured me it wouldn't be a problem. So far, so good! (it's only been a few days since range was installed)
Seatown Electric replaced the old knob & tube wiring in my 1930 home with up to date wiring. I chose them because the guy they sent to do the quote was very thorough, unscrewing all of the face plates in the house to look for additional areas of knob & tube. He found several extra circuits of knob and tube and built them into the estimate. If we had gone with another electrician they would have found the extra circuits part way through, and so we would not have had a realistic price expectation from the start. The two electricians who did the work were very thorough and courteous, and cleaned up after themselves each evening so that our house wasn't a wreck for the whole week. This made it a lot more pleasant to live through a re-wiring with two young children. I was very happy with my experience, and will plan to use Seatown Electric again in the future.
Very helpful guy. Fixed our porch light wiring.
Tyler of Theater Design Consultants promptly arranged a mutually suitable time to provide an on site consultation for the work (to mount a flatscreen over a fireplace, plus the wiring involved to run power, audio and HDMI behind the wall). The quote (arrived 24 hours later) provided a couple of mounting options - one of which was perfect. The work was scheduled the following week (at the earliest time that was convenient for me) and executed. We had a small hiccup with the wiring that Tyler was more than pleased to work around and make good. The system is working great - thank you Tyler!
I've used Puget Sound Computer Help three times and been extremely pleased with the results. I've recommended them to five of my clients and several of my friends. The first was for help with setting up a wireless network for my PC to access. He showed me how to make sure that mine wasn't competing with the signal strength with other nearby networks. What I learned from that experience I was able to use to set up my parents network. The second was when I mentioned to Bruce Miller, the owner how tired I was of seeing ads pushed to me on my computer. He showed me how to download and install a host file and reduced my annoying banner ads 95%. The interesting thing was that my computer is now operating faster because it doesn't have all that ad cluttered bandwidth to process. I was also able to test this when I went to my parents and used their ancient Wireless G Apple network. A third time was when I was wanted to set up dedicated phone lines for my QuickBooks and Quicken set up, review, training, and troubleshooting business in Seattle. He told me about an affordable device on Amazon that uses the Internet, helped me buy it, sign up for a very inexpensive monthly charge ($1.49 a month and 2 cents? a minute, much less than having Century Link or Comcast), and configure the lines. Now when line 1 rings, I know it is from my Craig's List ads and for line 2, I know the call is from someone who saw my profile on Yelp (rhymes with whelp). Using these lines has improved my marketing.
I just bought my first house and had Live Wire Electric do an estimate for installing an outlet for a dishwasher and garbage disposal as well as wiring my new dual fuel range. Communication was spotty but Brian took the time to make things right and was able to fit our installation in quickly and at a reasonable price. We had Steve and Joey as our technicians and they arrived on time, were professional and completed the work in about 3 hours, with a trip to Home Depot included. I am very happy with the work and would hire Live Wire again in the future.
Chris was AWESOME to work with!!!! He was knowledgable about things we didn't discuss during the initial contact and made the time to fix evrything we needed and more. I would definitely recommend him to any and all who need computer/ phone/ general maintenance for anything tied to a computer or network. Nice to know there are still people in business that are honest and hard working.
Gary and his team did an excellent job on multiple electrical jobs throughout our home (data jacks, smart switches, ceiling fan and light fixture replacement, etc.). They were thorough, exacting and fast; explaining every detail as they went along. They isolated and described the effects of a deficiency in the home's original wiring and options for fixing it. Gary also spent the time to discuss what it would take to add a whole house generator when we add a future freestanding RV garage; including the relocation of the electric meter, and house electric and propane hook-ups. We will surely use Parker Bros Electric again!
Waipio Cloud Inc. is the best. the Engineer has done so much work for me and i've been satisfied everytime. Recently, he built a a small network in my office, and I was totally impressed. his work is great, he's quick and he's diligent. i recommend him to anyone. he's honest.
Ali is a pro in wiring!
Very knowledgeable with an ability to understand a non-working double network with old and new equipment, and resolve the issues.
John and his "minion" came a long way north to do my job, some of it in the dark, trenching in new wires for an outbuilding. That grew into a few other jobs. John and his apprentice were both very personable, and we had some good chats and laughed a lot. In the end, what matters is the work they did. John's competence and experience gave me the confidence to trust his assessments of what needed to be done, and in his ability to complete the work successfully. I don't look forward to needing his work again, but if I do, I look forward to working with him.
John reviewed the whole house pre wired sound system and determined what hardware equipment I would need to make it all come together. John was very professional and recommended, ordered, and installed all the equipment for the whole house audio system. I am happy that he figured out what no other contractor could.
More Than Audio exceeded our expecations in both service and price. Both Todd and his assistant were polite, professional in appearance, and did a thorough job of cleaning up when the job was finished. They installed a 60" plasma TV and surround sound without leaving a single wire or mark on the walls. Additionally, they saved us a great deal of money by purchasing some of the supplies such as the mount, wires, etc. at their cost. I ended up returning $400 worth of stuff at Best Buy because Todd could beat their prices. Finally, Todd has been great about ensuring that we know how to operate all our equipment by providing written instructions and said we could call anytime if we had questions. I highly recommend this company.
I hired Amir to wire a unit for my outdoor dry sauna, it was over 100’ wiring outside house, he did a clean job, fast and professional
The technician came out and diagnosed the issue. Somehow, the network port we had trouble with was working when he tested it, so he also ran some wiring around a door frame and to a router.
