HP posted a warning on my laptop that the fan was overheating, and to shut it down to avoid data loss and damage. Tom picked up my laptop from my home, gave me a quote if it was going to need a new fan, and also said he would call if there were any other issues. He was prompt, professional and very courteous. He returned my laptop the next day, after doing a diagnostic check. He found no problems with the fan. He charged me only the standard fee for an appointment.
