I have been training at Ligot Training Systems for 8 months. Before that I tried several gyms and worked out with several trainers but, never felt like I was learning or gaining anything. A friend of mine invited me to try Ligot Systems and I was hooked immediately, the trainers are knowledgeable and very friendly and they make sure to create a workout that fits your needs. I had bad knees due to my years of playing competitive sports and usually that was the reason I will stop working out, but now my knees feel better than ever and working out is always fun. I never thought that I will have so much fun working out or that I will look forward to my next training day! So not only the pain in my knees is gone, I lost over 25 lbs and I'm stronger and faster than before but I have FUN!!!!

I saw a post from LTS on facebook.. It asked if you were tired, and not happy with your level of fitness. I wasn't. I am a fairly athletic guy, but am almost always injured in some way shape or form. I have a disc problem in the lower back, torn meniscus 2 yrs ago, several broken collar bones.. I ski, mtn bike, dirt bikes, street/track motorcycles etc.. I have missed many sessions/seasons with injuries. I've been through lots of PT, and rehab for stuff.. Needless to say, I'm very picky, and sometimes skeptical of various rehab, training techniques. I have a hard time with off the shelf workout routines (pilates, yoga, crossfit, powerlifting) because inevitably something tweaks out.. and I loose momentum. I started at LTS 12 months ago.. In the first few weeks I could tell my progress would only be hampered by my own level of effort. Curt and Jared were able to assess all the problem areas and design custom workouts that blasted pretty much my whole body. Once I got through the first 6 weeks, I was hooked. To make things harder on the guys, I re-tore my meniscus this summer playing softball. I missed maybe 3 workouts. Again, my entire series was changed and I was able to keep progressing while healing??! It took 6-8 weeks but the approach was to isolate an minimize any work to that area at first.. then slowly add little strength exercises back in. I was back on a dirt bike 6 weeks after.. I was (minus a new MRI) back up and running in 8 weeks. Now at 12 months out I am down 25lbs and my core is stronger than it has been in the last 10 years! I can't really get enough. Every time I think I get comfortable with a series of sets, they change it up. Finally stepping up it three days a week. I cannot recommend it highly enough. Go talk to curt, it will change your life.

I love this place. Just finished a three-month trial period. Taking a break because I've got too much on my plate this month and I'm struggling with sleep deprivation, but I hope to be back as soon as I finish a major project at the end of the month. At the start of the year, I was looking to shed some holiday weight. I got in touch with Curt. He was super helpful and responsive. He listened to my circumstances and really worked with me to make membership possible. I've been working out 2-3 times per week with Jared, who is both a sweetheart and an ass-kicker! The workout are challenging, my muscles are always sore and the company is awesome. Seriously, I never realized the gym could be so fun. Ligot caps classes at 6 individuals. That intimate environment allows Jared to pay a lot of attention to each person. He's great at tailoring our workouts according to our skill level. As for the exercises, they work out the entire body. The flow and repetition will make you sweat. Lifts, squats, stretches, cardio -- there's a bit of everything in each workout. I always leave these sessions feeling awesome. I highly recommend Ligot Training Systems to people of all skill levels. These guys are all heart AND hard work. I'll be back.
