Introduction: The piano lessons I provide are extremely productive and fun. I offer preparation for festivals and competitions but also accept students who are not interested in competing. I have 30 years of teaching experience. My students win outstanding achievement in the Seattle Young Artist festival as well as first place in local MTNA competitions. What I enjoy most about teaching privately is the one on one time developing skills and love of music.

I started taking lessons from Molly about 1 & a half years ago. I am an adult student who took piano lessons throughout my childhood and continued to play for fun as an adult. Molly has helped me pick back up more serious practice & was able to identify areas that I needed to work on. My lessons are always targeted to those areas. Molly is an incredible teacher who is energetic, positive & knows how to individualize lessons. I look forward to each of my lessons & always leave feeling better than when I arrived. Molly has helped me re-discover the enjoyment I had studying piano as a child. I can't say enough good things about Molly as a teacher. And I can finally play Claire de Lune-something I had been trying to teach myself for six years!

Molly is an amazing music & piano Teacher! Her approach with children is delightful. She is both encouraging & motivates students while maintaining high expectations with an affectionate and professional demeanor . I charge $280/month for weekly one hour piano lessons. sometimes this means you get 5 lessons instead of 4.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I offer a free interview lesson to decide if we are the right fit.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have piano performance degrees from Cincinnatti Conservatory of music, University of Washington and the Paris Conservatory. I am certified in the state of Washington and a member of the WSMTA as well as MTNA. I am a member of the Ladies Musical Club. I also work as an accompanist for the Seattle Girls' cnoir.
