Heather Morado has taught violin and piano students in the Pacific Northwest for nearly twenty years. Heather studied violin performance at the University of Puget Sound, under full scholarship on the basis of musical and academic merit, and at the Johannesen International School of the Arts in Victoria, B.C, Canada. Heather has studied extensively with acclaimed violinists Edward Seferian (student of Ivan Galamian and Josef Gingold) and Robert Davidovici (student of David Oistrakh). She has performed with
the Puget Sound Symphony Orchestra, the Port Angeles Symphony, the Bellevue and Skagit Opera Orchestras, and Symphony Tacoma.

My son is in his third year of studying both piano and violin with Heather Morado. We couldn't be more pleased! Heather is very professional and, at the same time, a very warm, encouraging and passionate musician. Not only she teaches you how to play the instrument, but also music theory, and history of the composers. Through Heather, my son has flourished musically and personally, has learned the value of a continuous, persistent work to reach a goal, and thoroughly enjoys his lessons. Heather is a fantastic teacher, and I would recommend her to anyone, beginning or advanced!

My 7 year old daughter has been taking lessons from Heather for the better part of a year, and has made huge progress. Heather provides challenge and structure, and my daughter has learned a lot. Especially noteable is how fluent my daughter now is in sight-reading music -- kudos to Heather. I highly recommend her!
