Jarrod installed a glass shower door and fixed a poorly installed kitchen cabinet. He not only completed the work, but took his time and made sure everything worked and looked impeccable. We would highly recommend Jarrod for any needed job.
Had him install 3 new upper cabinets and 2 new base cabinets. He also fixed all doors and added pulls. He was on time and did a great job. I plan on hiring again.
He patiently explained functionality and features of the product he was installing for me and made helpful improvements to the location of the switches.
I have hired Steve for tree trimming and storm door installation. Although the jobs were small, he was still willing to travel from East Chatham to Schenectady to provide the service. His rates were quite reasonable and affordable, and I was totally satisfied with the work done. He was punctual and reliable.
The best. The Best. The Very Best. My experience with most contractors has not been favorable. James always arrives on-time and hits the ground running. There is no dilly dallying. The quality of the work is excellent. He's always pleasant, professional, and calm even when I spilled paint on the new kitchen tile floor and its grout. Very reasonably priced. Should I ask for work to be done that is not actually necessary he will advise. Additionally, he'll present an alternative approach when appropriate, which is always profoundly cheaper and better. Collaborative. He's knocked off at least 20 items on my To Do list of big and small jobs from painting, carpentry, cabinetry, light plumbing, light fixtures, and handyman. Excellent workmanship. Now we're working on kitchen cabinets to be followed with wood floor installation. I am so fortunate that he was referred to me and I just cannot say enough good things of him. Lastly, he is in the Reserve, which for me carries weight.
Ivan was amazing at getting my cabinets and laminate countertop installed. He did a great job! He really takes pride in what he does and you can tell in his workmanship. He completed the task in a timely fashion and any questions I had he was quick and knowledgeable at solving them. I would definitely hire him again!
Had my new cabinets installed and a new quartz counter top installed. They did it all in 5 days. I would hire them again.
We found Mr. Cuevas through thumbtack to install our kitchen cabinets and crown molding. He did an outstanding job and we couldn't be happier with the work he did. He is very skilled and professional and would highly recommend him to others. I will definitely call Mr. Cuevas for future projects !
Chris made my vision come to life - he was very responsive, punctual, a good estimator and problem-solver/discusser for issues encountered. In less than a week, he a) moved a 5ft section of interior wall 2 feet in and installed cabinets in the moved space, b) drywalled around a set of stand-alone cabinets to make them "built-in", and c) smoothed over some prior demo work. Excellent experience.
Bill did an excellent job with my kitchen remodel. He was professional, courteous and honest; all hard traits to find in a general contractor. Because of where I live many contractors were overbidding the job. Bills pricing was more than fair. The job started with an assessment of my needs and figuring out a scope of work. He started on time, early in the morning, and worked tirelessly into the night. If I didnt call it a day he probably would have worked through the night. During the project I added work that in turn caused some scheduling conflicts. Bill came in the next day (Saturday) postponing his family plans to help me out. We still have another days worth of work scheduled. He actually refused payment until he was completely done, but I paid him anyways for the hours he worked. I highly recommend Bill for your contractor needs. If you are considering hiring him I would be more than happy to answer any questions you may have. 206-854-8310 Scope of work: Wall removal Countertop removal Lighting (10 can lights installed) Cabinet refurbishing and hanging Drywall work Removal of debris Will follow up with photos
The quality of work and the skills of J. & R are unmatched. The cabinet and countertop installation are of superior workmanship. Thank you for the job well done.
Andy has worked with us since 2006. He has remodeled bathrooms, done indoor and outdoor painting projects, installed hardwood floor and carpet, built sheds, helped us put in a circular cobblestone driveway, supervised a roof project, installed a water heater, built retaining walls, paths, a vegetable garden, done landscaping, repaired our swimming pool and spa, installed kitchen appliances, done woodworking and built furniture. He has come to our rescue many times for emergency repairs. He is great about setting up projects for us to help with labor or to do ourselves. Andy's main concern in any project is safety. He is also interested in saving the customer money whenever possible but never at the expense of quality. He is an environmentally conscious contractor. He will always come back and do warranty work if needed. His records are always thorough and specific. In an effort to do the extra little things we request, he can run behind schedule and the job may take a bit longer than first projected. The main reason we bring Andy back for project after project is his honesty and integrity. We have worked with many contractors in our 30 plus years of marriage and have never found anyone we trust this much.
Chuck has done many home improvements around my home, including installing a dishwasher, building a huge deck and adding electrical outlets. He is a hard worker, along with his crew, and I now consider him a friend!
It was a great experience having Cascadia Granite LLC help with my kitchen design and installation, Bob is a True profesional of his field prompt, courteous and very easy to work with
We had a very good experience with the Reed Painting Company. We needed the interior of our mid-century lathe and plaster house painted, and we needed it done within 2 weeks. It took a few days for us to initially meet, but that is to be expected when you call and want to meet immediately. Randy came by with a portfolio of work the company had done for other clients. He was well-prepared and had additional certification (lead paint removal) that was nice (although there wasn't much removal in our job). He measured the rooms, took note of the various and numerous holes and cracks in our old house, and gave us a bid within 24 hours. He also included a colorist, Sheila, in the deal. Her help was crucial. Randy sent the bid by email, which was nice, as it was quite long. It covered about everything. The crew came in on Monday and was finished by Friday. That's kitchen, living room, dining room, 2 bedrooms, bathroom, entry and hallway. Also kitchen cabinets and doors! They used a lock box so we didn't have to be there to let them in. They started the project when we asked them to, finished on time, and even accommodated us beyond the contract: they removed window coverings, they allowed chimney repair contractors to share the space for an hour, and they met with us on a Sunday for the 'walk through'. Our only complaint was that they rolled on the paint on the kitchen cabinets, instead of using brushes. Maybe that should have been discussed....I assumed they would brush those, so I can't fault them entirely. We would use them again, and may do that soon for the exterior painting.
Chad and Christal installed laundry room cabinets, counter tops, knobs and drawer pulls for us. Chad also moved an outlet in a room with rather strange configuration. We couldn't be more pleased with the outcome. They were prompt, neat, tidy, efficient, and resourceful. They were reasonably priced, and we couldn't be happier! I would highly recommend them.
Nate is the best contractor I ever worked with. He is very responsive, diligent and does beautiful work. I had an extensive living room project he worked on, including installation of a gas fireplace, built in cabinets and lighting. It turned out perfect. Highly recommend!
Integrity Custom Builders has been installing residential / commercial cabinets and trim for our company for several years. The quality of work is outstanding; on time and on budget. Integrity is not just a name, but a core value and a way of doing business for Dave Marlow and his crew. We are very satisfied and appreciate the attention to detail and customer service that is brought to each job.
Joseph did a great job installing new gutters on our attached shed as well as replacing a new prehung door (casing+door) leading from the garage into the house! Also Joseph is very good about maintaining quick and responsive communication, too, which is as important (if not MORE so!) as doing the job well and within the time/cost quoted. We've found that those we've hired here on Thumbtack do take pride in doing a good job AND prioritize communication with us. We are very pleased with Joseph and will hire him again for sure! Plus, he's a very positive and kind person which matters to us, as well.
Our kitchen comprises 3 walls of cabinets, pantries, and built-ins and a matching island, all built of oak for a unified look. Recently, we upgraded our refrigerator that turned out to be an inch and a half too tall for the cabinet above it. Mr. Williams rebuilt the cabinet shortening it exactly the right amount to allow for the fridge. The rebuilt cabinet fits into the kitchen as though there was never a problem. Outstanding work!!
Curtis was a pleasure to work with and we just LOVE how our kitchen turned out. He put in all the cabinets and made everything look so custom. His attention to detail is top notch. He also built a beautiful cherry TV armoire for us that is custom and everyone raves about it. We are now hiring Curtis to build a kitchen table. I would highly recommend his work and would not hesitate to hire him again.
