These people look like they do what they teach & they do train themselves the way they teach their classes. Proper form and technique are taught well re. the exercizes. 3 days a week to work all the muscle groups and of course the heart! Great value too for a whole hour of training!
I have been following Brandon and his company, Lift Big Eat Big for a while. I finally got the balls to email and inquire about personal training, and the only regret I have is that I didnt start sooner! I have really found my niche in strongman training with them. I have been working with Brandon for a while now, and the gains in my strength have been phenomenal! Even on different sides of the country, he always has a quick response to my texts, whether they be a "fuck you" because I'm sore as hell, excitement and encouragement over a new PR, or a tip to push through that last set. As long as I put in my part and do the work, he is always on time and prompt with providing programming. He has been more available to me, than the previous coaches whose gyms I was ACTUALLY at. You can't deny numbers, and mine only continue to go up! So many thanks to Brandon for the time, encouragement, and programming. If people are looking for a change up in their fitness regimen, I highly recommend Brandon!
CATZ is not just excellent, it's exceptional. I'm a 28 year old female athlete and I use CATZ primarily to train for competitive sports, but I also workout there to prepare for ski season and stay fit during my off season. As a former college soccer coach and current personal trainer, I'm picky about where and with whom I train. The staff at CATZ, especially Anya, are knowledgeable and experienced and they challenge you in a fun and safe environment. While I use their performance training, I've also seen them run many of their adult fitness classes for people of all age, ability, and fitness level and they do a wonderful job. I recommend CATZ to people all the time without hesitation and I'd be there everyday if I could. I've never experienced such physical and mental gains as I have since I started training regularly at CATZ and I dare you to find a better hour-long workout!
Ben has been my trainer for over a year now and he is super. I cannot believe how much stronger I am overall thanks to his training program. I have so much more endurance doing physical tasks and tire less. I like the fact that he offers one on one training and is knowledgeable about fitness. His classes offer a variety of exercises that are never boring. David R., age 56, maintenance manager
I have had many healing sessions with Gabi, and the experience is always life tranforming and inspiring. Her ability to listen compasionately and identify what needs to shift in order to bring about the needed change is graceful. Her loving joyful personality is soothing and full of light. What stands out the most for me after doing a session with Gabi is how lihgt hearted and refreshed I feel, it is as if she opens the door of grace and fill you up with it, washing away any discomfort/disconnection! Thank you Gabi, I am eternally grateful!!!
Combining lymphatic drainage techniques into treatments that help with everything from allergies, edema, and moving fluid naturally. This class is so informative! There are numerous benefits to lymphatic drainage that naturally allow the body to purge or detoxify fluid. Great one hour class to teach everyone how to help themselves.
Kiyoumi was my massage therapist over the last 4 years until I sadly moved out of state. What I loved most about her massages were that she always made me feel comfortable and relaxed, and I am pretty shy. She gives excellent massages as well, never rushed and was so accommodating! She also helped improve my SI joint pain that I've always dealt with in the past and it virtually went away after seeing her on a regular basis. Too bad you cannot take your massage therapist with you when you move... I highly recommend her ! -Amy
After leading a sedentary lifestyle for decades I decided it was time to make a change. I had enough of the daily pain due to a lower back injury sustained in a car accident, and the extra weight wasn't helping. After trying different gyms and trainers I only saw disappointing results and still lacked the much needed motivation; until I worked with Ryan! Ryan is an exceptional personal trainer who lives and breathes health & fitness. His education is outstanding and his passion is truly motivating. No one-size-fits-all program, but exercises designed for you and your specific goals. I lost 45lbs, reconditioned my lower back and no longer experience daily pain. I am in the best shape of my life!
Bindia is well-versed in anatomy and physiology and has a clear understanding of how to heal and prevent injuries with/during yoga. She is personable and warm and a patient teacher. My private lessons with her have felt like drinking at an oasis. She's helped me come a long ways in my yoga practice in three short weeks. I look forward to working with her in the future and I strongly recommend her to anyone else seeking private yoga instruction.
Melissa has trained me through many levels of fitness as well as worked with me through injury and back to full strength on the injured joints. I started working with her in 2009 after my husband went for a fitness evaluation with her. He, basically, wanted to know if she did the same training routine with each client. Well, after my fitness evaluation, I got a completely different workout. Melissa tailors each workout to each individual - AND she doesn't keep the workout the same if the individual has an injury or is training for a triathlon, like I am, now. My goal is to be in the best shape of my life at 40 (I'm 36, now), and to be able to do as many activities as I want in retirement, such as skiing, hiking, swimming, biking, etc. She definitely changed my life and my outlook on what I can achieve with my body. I have gained over 12 pounds of muscle training with her, and I definitely look better than I did when I was younger! I am also an avid triathlete, and I no longer think, "I can't do that!" when someone asks me to go hiking, bouldering, etc. because thanks to Melissa, I CAN!!! She is amazing and motivating. I highly recommend working with Melissa to reach your goals!
If you are looking for a seasoned and competent swim professional, who is the epitome of coaching caliber excellence, I highly recommend Adam Hendren. In addition to being a coach with the KING Aquatic Swim Club based in the Seattle area since December 2012, he has coached for many years summer outdoor swim leagues, in addition to providing private, semi-private, and group instruction to swimmers of all ages and skill levels. When providing instruction, Coach Hendren customizes the training to meet the swimmer’s learning styles and development stages. Based on the swimmer’s skill level, he will tailor the instruction on an individualized basis. He uses different approaches including technology, state of the art visual aids, and interactive demonstration. In while safety and developing the swimmer to advance from ready-to-learn-swim programs to perhaps prepare them to join a competitive swim team, Coach Hendren’s desire is for all his swimmers to first and foremost have fun and enjoy being in the water. Coach Hendren impresses the importance of the relationship between swimmer and coach. He acts on four key qualities of a good swimmer-coach relationship: trust, commitment, communication and confidence. If his students are willing to trust his advice, commit to the instruction he is providing, communicate their goals and develop a positive, can-do attitude, they will see productive outcomes, all while fostering a close bond with him. For the past 4 years, my daughter has worked with Coach Hendren in a team setting, and on an individual basis, receiving coaching and private instruction that developed and continually enhances her technical swim technique, performance, speed, and endurance in the sport of swimming. Furthermore, he has instilled in her self- confidence and continually challenges her to discover her full potential and talent all while providing guidance in leadership development and goal setting. Coach Hendren is punctual and reliable, flexible to work with the swimmer’s schedule, an effective communicator, and comes fully prepared to the lesson all while making it a fun experience. He is genuine, caring, authentic, and a positive role model.

I offer group and private swim lessons for adult or children. If you have a fear of the water or would like to just improve on techniques you already know, I can cover it all. I have been teaching for 22 year, and I love my job. Swimming is my passion, and to get to do it everyday, and teach others how to as well, is quite a blessing.

My name is Courtney, and I have been actively involved in aquatics for roughly 6 years now. Having parents as aquatics directors, this has always been a huge aspect of my life. I have taught baby classes, children, and even adults and soldiers. I have worked on lakes, pools, and training facilities. I can accommodate with siblings and adults individually to personal goals. I am flexible on pricing and have Red Cross and YMCA certifications available for your peace of mind.
I'm lifeguard certified and a former collegiate division 1 varsity swimmer who is here to help you swim! If you are just learning to swim, you want to master the different strokes, or are just training for a triathlon, I can help you.
My name is Alex. I have been a competitive swimmer for 17 years now. I have been teaching lessons for the last 6 years. I have experience working with nonswimmers and competitive swimmers, both children and adults. For children: I first like to make sure the children are comfortable with the water and trust me. I encourage them to do things out of their comfort zone, but I would never force them to do anything. Typically, I do not allow the parents at the lessons (usually this distracts the kids and makes them less likely to listen and/or try new things). I often encourage kids to do something they think is "too hard" or "too scary" by saying, "If we practice now, we can show mom how good we're doing!" I teach from basics (blowing bubbles) to advanced (learning different strokes and improving technique). Adult Lessons: I will help with learning to swim, improvement, racing, triathlons, etc.
