Ernesto and crew took on several yard projects for us. They repaired a rock retaining wall, finished another rock wall, removed ivy and blackberry bushes and prepped our front yard for a walking labyrinth. That required bringing rocks, pea gravel and river rock up our very steep driveway. They did a fabulous job! They were prompt, professional and so reasonable! I highly recommend Ernesto and will be calling on him again for other projects.

Carlos was quick to respond to my request and came out the same day for an estimate. His quote was very reasonable and he was able to schedule my job within a few days. I was so amazed at the quality of the work they did. I expected them to spray weed killer on the weeds in my rock bed but they literally used a pick to dig out all the weeds under about 100 feet of river rock. All of the weeding and trimming was done beautifully and the mulch also ended up looking beautiful. They worked for 8 hours on a day that was pouring rain off and on. It was way more than I expected. I am so impressed and would highly recommend. I will definitely keep his card for future landscaping work.

Julio and his team did a great job of cleaning up my rock gardens and saving an apple tree from a neighboring bamboo plant. They aerated the soil and laid down compost prior to completing the job. Before they left they also cleaned up a couple of other areas on my property and made arrangements to come back to complete a task which they discovered while working and did not have the right tools for. They arrived on time and completed the job on time and completely cleaned up before they left. My yard looks fantastic and my apple tree is starting to show signs of recovery! I would not hesitate to hire them again. Great crew - a pleasure to do business with.

We had a new deck put in along with a new fence around the backyard. We also had some landscaping done with nice rock pathways and lighting. We also really like the water feature. They finished the project within the timeframe given and price was reasonable.

Zach and Roman put up a wood and wire fence for us, and a section of all wood fencing. Zach is conscientous, polite and great at problem solving. We have a rolling lot, but didn't want a rolling looking fence. We all brainstormed, and he solved it with a perfect solution. He had to work with an already existing cement wall, cut through a large rock in the way, and deal with rain! We are so pleased with the quality and look of our new fence, and would recommend Z.J.H. Handyman to all inquiring.

We had them prune 5 mature fruit trees and an out-of-control kiwi! After contacting them on Monday, they were on-site on Wednesday and finished cleaning up the debris by Saturday. Very quick and professional service. I plan on calling them every year from now on!

Espinozas Lawn Care did a great job in cleaning up my garden. He weeded, trimmed shrubs, and laid down rock next to the side of my house. I will definitely hire him again when I have future work to be done.

Had some timing and communication issues (on both sides), but once complete, our driveway came out good. We also had them build a retaining rock wall that looks fantastic and we have received many compliments. Viliamu and his team were very friendly and easy to work with. Recommend.

I would highly recommend Heather to complete any yard clean up and sod installation job you might have. She totally removed all weeds, tough dandelions and pepper shot from my yard, moved river rock from the front of the house to the back yard, hauled in and spread several yards of compost and mulch, and removed old sod manually and installed new sod. The yard looks terrific. She did this all by herself and completed the job and n schedule. Her prices are VERY reasonable considering how much work she did for me. I will be calling Heather again for other projects.

I hired Creative Effects to clear my backyard and lay new aggregate to extend my patio. Wilson gave me a very good estimate and came out very quickly. The guys did a wonderful job clearing...and did it SO FAST! The patio was not done correctly, unfortunately, and had to be torn out. Even though it was not done right, I appreciate that Wilson attempted to fix it, but more importantly...when he realized it couldn't be fixed and had to be torn out, he was gracious to admit it. He then ripped out all of the concrete and hauled it off and refunded all of my money. This shows incredible honesty and integrity and I definitely would recommend his services to others.

Perfect Paradise Gardening did a wonderful job with our small project. Jose came out right away to give a reasonable quote. He was easy to communicate with and on time for the project. Jose and his team removed lava rock from our curbside and laid sod. They also dig and planted a lovely garden between our fence and sidewalk. I would highly recommend Perfect Paradise Gardening for outdoor projects at your home!

Connecting with Oliana Gardening was superbly serendipitous. As an interior designer and landlord, my gardens need to be both aesthetic and highly functional, and preferably mostly native. I needed a landscaping establishment that was reliable, trustworthy, knowledgeable about natives, the right price, able to do both maintenance and renovations, and, this was a biggie, artistically trained. Oliana Gardening is meeting all these needs beautifully. Reliable and trustworthy means appointments are kept, communication is good, work gets finished, and my property gets cleaned and locked up as it should be. Being able to trust Oliana Gardening as I do makes my life so much easier. Jumanji really knows her native plants, and helped me figured out a scheme for a sunny front garden that I was failing miserably with on my own. I’d spoken to other people about natives before, but they either couldn’t imagine an entirely native garden, or were so natives-oriented they seemed to sniff at my aesthetic needs. Jumanji supports my dual and sometimes conflicting requirements. For example, while it’s stressful on sword ferns to completely cut their old fronds, we’re compromising with selective trimming. The fact that Jumanji does both installations and maintenance is especially helpful because every act of maintenance from pruning to carefully placing excess leaves in the right spot all leads toward the overall garden vision. She’s not going to damage anything from ignorance or mess up what is working well like my clean gravel drive by getting dirt all over it as one “gardener” did. More, Jumanji keeps teaching me new things about gardening (like the nuances of pruning redtwig dogwood and serviceberry), which makes the process fun. To me, Jumanji’s greatest asset, is that is also an artist. Many companies have great plant knowledge or construction abilities, but their gardens often lack unity or artistry. I absolutely love collaborating with Oliana Gardening as one creative with another. Jumanji understands the creative process, creative angst, and “can we move it again?” Jumanji also has other equally talented colleagues, so when I wanted a border between my plants and gravel, she brought in an artist friend who can weld. Together they created a beautiful steel border and craftily installed it among carefully placed rocks to make everything look level and balanced (when the ground wasn't). Almost last, Oliana Gardening understands my garden ambitions aren’t backed by a big budget so existing plants, rocks, leaves etc. have been used to their utmost. To offset costs, we’ll figure out things I can do myself, we’ll work together for a bit (such as when she wrapped my tree with lights and installed some new rocks), or spread work out over several months. My garden has really come together since working with Oliana Gardening, and I look forward to working with Jumanji’s company long into the future.

Logan has done work at a condominium where I serve as a board member. His company has performed numerous projects throughout the property. From power washing, monthly Landscape Maintenance, special landscape projects that included removal of old bushes and reinstalling River Rock and a very attractive bedding area. Logan also does work for several of my business clients. These are condominium associations, apartment building managers, and property management companies. Competitively priced, quality work, and a clean work site.

I found Sergio through Thumbtack after struggling to find any handyman services that weren't booked out weeks/months in advance and actually responded to me. I emailed Sergio from the website to initiate the process and from our initial email we began communicating via text message. Sergio came out on a Monday to provide a quote for significant yard work. The yard work included removing tons of overgrown and invasive plants on my grandmother-in-law's Kingston property (think blackberries et al) and removal of some random junk on the property, as well as cutting down of bamboo (grandma's property has a creek running through it and there's more bamboo than the fertile lands of Asia). Sergio reviewed everything we wanted done and quoted it would take about 40 hours with 3 guys to process the work and removal of everything we wanted done. The rate is $25 per hr per worker so the estimate worked out to about 3k. Of course, I'm always expecting unexpected things to come up and I have zero experience hiring someone to do significant yard work like this. Sergio and I agreed to the work via text after receiving the quote. The next Monday morning he and one of his guys showed up promptly at 8am and began hacking away at junipers and blackberry plants on the property with machetes (what. haha.) I live in Seattle so I wasn't easily able to come out and constantly check on their progress. Sergio had one guy with him on Monday and Tuesday-Thursday he had two guys with him. Initially, we planned on them finishing on Friday but something came up and they promptly came (four guys, actually) on Saturday and finished everything off. The actual cost for (approximately) 40 hours with 3 guys was about $3,300 with about $750 in dump run fees (yeah bringing all those trimmings and leaves sure get expensive at the Kitsap dump, I've done it on my own in the past). And then sales tax for his services a couple hundred. Overall, it was about 4k, which was 1k over budget but seeing as $750 was dump run costs and like $350 was sales tax, it totally met my expectations. Sergio and his crew are polite, fast, friendly, and hard working. I'm pleased that we selected Sergio for our yard work. They did a significant amount of yard waste hacking and removal. My grandmother-in-law is very attached to some of the plants so they were very careful about preserving and protecting specific plants (whichever plants so wanted stayed, and the overgrown invasive plants growing on top of them were removed) and Sergio and his crew were clearly professionals at handling these Pacific Northwestern flora. If you're looking for someone who will work hard for you and be very fair, I would recommend emailing, calling, or texting Sergio to bring him out for a quote. Other projects we are about to have done that Sergio may be involved with and stated he and his crew can do, and will quote separately: -power washing and painting her house -grading, levelling, and filling her drive way with rock -aerating and seeding grass and laying sod -placing pavers to create unprecedented walkways -removal of old fences and installation of new fences So in addition to yard and junk waste removal, as well as professionally manicuring her plants, shrubs, and trees, Sergio and his team can do pretty much anything. Contact him for a quote. I highly recommend. :)

Richard is extremely knowledgeable, honest and stands 100% behind his work. I use Richard because of his attention to detail.
