My daughter has only had two lessons with Aaron, so I do not have a long term relationship to base my review on. However, I can say that Aaron was very prompt at returning my emails and phone calls . Very professional in how he approached making financial arrangements and scheduling our lessons. He provided references for me to check with. He offered a complementary initial lesson. And perhaps most important, when I pick up my daughter from her lesson she has a smile on her face and says Aaron is very nice.

Diana is a wonderful teacher, mentor, and business owner of The Fleming School of Music. She has the skills & understanding to really be in tune with her piano students. Diana's staff is also great; we now have all 3 of our children enrolled in the school. For the last 4 years, we have been happily bringing our kids to their piano lessons, and we always look forward to the Winter and Spring recitals during the school year! My family has full confidence in the Fleming School of Music to give our kids the tools to be successful students of music!

My husband and I are both musicians and understand the importance of private lessons. In fact, all three of our children study privately on their respective instruments. Needless to say, we have experienced many different instructors and they all have different styles of teaching. It is so important to find the right "fit" in order for your child to keep up their enthusiasm - especially when they hit middle school. George has been teaching my son for several years and he is now entering his senior in high school. My son is an excellent trumpet player and even though he is not planning to major in music in college, he still wants to continue playing in his college wind ensemble. Just recently we asked him if he wants to continue studying privately during his busy senior year and he said "of course!". From a 17 year old, that speaks VOLUMES about George and what a wonderful teacher he is. From a parent's standpoint, I have been very pleased with George Steward. I definitely noticed my son's technique and tone improve after studying with George. But there is one more plus that is very important and its what makes George a great teacher - he genuinely cares about his students. He has attended my son's trumpet competitions as well as his concert when he was a soloist and has had recitals to get his student's ready for competitions. He has coached my son's brass quintet and helped them take first place at State 2 years in a row. He is flexible if a lesson needs to be rescheduled and easy to reach by e-mail and get a timely response. I recommend George Steward to everyone who asks me where they can find a great trumpet instructor.

I am writing this recommendation letter to you on behalf of Mr. David George, an instructor who possesses remarkable musical talent and the intangible qualities of a truly great teacher. Clearly, a music instructor must be able to teach theory, conduct disciplined practice, and create performance opportunities for students. As a parent of one of David’s students who had no prior musical training -- not only did David teach how to read notes, practice hard to master playing the instrument; his students played their music well. David encouraged the passion and musical voice of each his student musician in every performance by giving time and energy to help each student grow.
