Paul and Stephanie were a pleasure to work with. Planning our wedding was difficult (we live in Montana), but Stephanie was a huge help throughout the planning process as well as during our wedding. The food itself was wonderful, and the cake far exceeded my expectations. There's nothing else we could have asked for for our wedding. Thank you to the whole team!
Nola and her staff did such a fantastic job catering our wedding. From helping us plan to menu, providing a delicious tasting, answering questions about logistics and dietary restrictions, and providing stellar food and customer service to the day of the wedding, Nola and her team went above and beyond to make our day special. Our main entrée was fig balsamic glazed wild BBQ salmon with mango kiwi salsa. I wish I could make something this delicious myself, because it was amazing. Our salad consisted of organic mixed greens with julienned apple, shaved fennel, herbed crouton, and a really light but creamy bleu cheese dressing. They even made a separate salad with a different dressing for our dairy-free guests. The guest (and groom’s) favorite was our side: Beecher’s mac and cheese. So good! It was very stormy the day of our wedding, and a lot of things went wrong for us. Nola and her team went beyond the call of duty and helped out where they shouldn’t have needed to. They kept an incredibly positive attitude the entire time, conversed with guests, and helped reassure an incredibly stressed-out bride. The only complaint I heard from any guests was the portion-control at the buffet, but with a buffet we personally feel that was probably necessary. I had been concerned that people would take more than their fair share and leave guests at the end of the line with no food, and I’m sure that was the whole reason for starting out with smaller portions. I also heard that guests were invited to come back for seconds once everybody had been served, so I’m sure everyone got enough food. Overall, we were more than satisfied with Nola, her team, and the food. The food was everything we had hoped for, and the service was outstanding. We recommend them to anybody planning a wedding or other event.
We worked with Shelby for almost a whole year to plan our wedding. We were out of state for most of the time, but she was great with using Skype and keeping a timeline of tasks. We would have regular meetings to go over ideas or plans, but she was always available and answered in a timely manner if we had a question outside of our meetings. The most important aspect is that she really listened to what we wanted and the day turned out better than I could have imagined! Shelby made the whole process stress free and we didn't have to worry about anything the day of. I would highly recommend her for any party/wedding planning or decorating/designing needs.
Britta was beyond wonderful! We had a really hard venue to work with, with non responsive staff, making it VERY hard to plan. Britta went above and beyond with meeting us and helping us get everything worked out. She was always in touch and quick to respond to any emails or calls. The day of was even better! She made sure every vendor was doing what they were supposed to, she managed the entire day, and kept us both fully informed of anything important happening that we needed to know about. I've referred her to a friend, and I would refer her to a thousand more! Hiring a wedding planner was never part of my plan, but when I ran into issues and wanted help, she was there and jumped right in. I'm so glad my plans changed and I got to met and hire her! Best wedding decision we made!
Gerilyn went above and beyond as our wedding planner. She took our ideas and made our day amazing. She listens to what you want and she is very dependable. I knew I didn't have to stress because gerilyn always had a solution and 3 back up plans. I would recommend her to anyone!
Working with Mardes is great! Mary is so wonderful to with with. She kept me organized and extend the discounts she got as a vendor to me. Also, I love the designs she can't up with for my wedding they looked great and were in my budget. I would definitely use them again!
10/10 amazing experience. Angela was a great resource, and I would like to sing her praises. Leading up to our wedding day she made herself available at any given moment, text, email, phone calls, she responded to every question or concern within the hour. We met for no less than half a dozen times, where we discussed everything from design ideas, etiquete, timelines, budget, rentals, contracts, and honestly the who/what/when/where/and why of OUR wedding. She knew all the right questions to ask to help us turn our thoughts into reality. Before we knew it our wedding day was in a week. Everything was in place, and it just needed to happen. This is where she shines. Angela wrangled everyone from the wedding party, the photographer, the rental deliveries, the venue personel, i mean everyone. She made sure they all knew exeactly what their jobs were, and that they were there to do them. I was completely hands off for this last week before the wedding and it made the process so much less stress. On the big day she ran it like a Swiss watch. Everything ran seamlessly, period. Our expectations were high, and they were blown out of the water. Thank you a million times over Angela. We couldn't have done it without yoi.
Fitsum has helped me tremendously with my wedding planning. Our wedding is not until May, but I felt the need to give her awesome reviews because she is just great at what she does and I wouldn't know what we would do without her. My fiancé and I have never planned a wedding before, so we have no idea what we needed to do. We thought that since we are having a destination wedding then it will be easier to plan everything, but we were wrong. There was so much stuff we didn't know and Fitsum has helped us tremendously even with a short time frame of 6 months. She helped us plan our at home reception and we can just focus in our destination wedding. She is easy to contact and easy to work with. She always respond to my emails and questions within a day, not only that she gave us great recommendations and tips. She also helped us pick out and reach out to our venues. She definitely has help relieve a lot of stress prior to our wedding and I couldn't have ask for a better wedding planner. We highly recommend her to anyone that we know!
Cake and Lace is amazing! With me trying to juggle working 12hr work days and weekends while at the same time searching for our next home. Thinking about planning a wedding was getting overwhelming. I never thought about getting a wedding planner and honestly I thought it would be a waste but our wedding planner Reneille Velez took so much stress away and gave me the time I needed to focus on other things. She Is so organized and stuck with us through our whole process on finding our perfect venue. Her communication skills and quick response to our text, calls and question is what I needed. I would recommend Reneille Velez and all Cake and Lace wedding planners to everyone who just needs a little clarity and peace of mind while planning their dream wedding.
We hired Snowrider Entertainment to DJ our wedding in Poulsbo. They did a great job! They came in and set up without any of our input or having to direct them. They provided a very stress free experience, and I can't think of a single thing that didn't go perfectly! Phil was very nice and professional. They did more than just play music. Phil helped us plan out the timing of each of the events of our wedding (dinner, dances, toasts, cake cutting, garder/bouquet toss, final dance), which was very helpful. When the day came and the events inevitably went a little off schedule, Phil was very flexible, and all the transitions and events went smoothly. I would highly recommend Phil and Snowrider Entertainment to anyone looking for a DJ and Master of Ceremonies for their wedding.
Kyro is an amazing wedding planner and I highly recommend her!!!! My fiancé and I had originally planned our wedding ceremony, a year in advanced in Puerto Rico on 12nov17, but due to hurricane Maria, we decided to cancel the Wedding and move it to my hometown in Tacoma Washington. That left us about a month to plan a whole new wedding in a different area. I found kyro on thumbtack and she is amazing! Not only did we have to plan a wedding in a month, she helped my coordinate everything via email while I am stationed in italy ( active duty Air Force). The very first time I met her and talked to her was at my rehearsal, the day before the Wedding and everything fell in place well before I arrived on 8 nov 17. She made all the planning so personal, very responsive via emails and kept me updated with everything she was working on. She gave her opinion on things that were very helpful and kept things running very smoothly esp with coordinating with vendors. She is very personable, attentive, professional and friendly. Best coordinator I’ve worked with and will give you an amazing day!!
Lori is fantastic planning a party! She did my son's rehearsal dinner in our home, another son's wedding reception poolside at our home--both over the top in creativity, ambiance and excellence! I cannot say enough about how great my experience was with Cherelle and her husband Igor. I had the lovely opportunity to work with Cherelle after finding her on Craigslist. With a very tight budget for our wedding I did not think I could afford a wedding decorator but decided to reach out to her and at least ask. She said she could work with any budget and definitely worked with mine. Throughout the whole process from start to finish Cherelle has been amazing! I am a very picky and indecisive person and Cherelle helped me find my vision for our wedding. She texted me very often her ideas and sent pictures of DIYs she did for our wedding. She even stopped by my house 3 days before the wedding to pick up extra flowers I had picked from my parents garden to use for the wedding since I could not exceed my budget for more floral and wanted bigger centerpieces. She never once made me feel bad about being on such a limited budget and instead helped brainstrom ideas to find alternative options to create my vision of the wedding. I loved how she responded very quickly to all my emails and text and really helped take a lot of weight off my shoulders. As a bride, I had so much on my plate, it was nice to have someone that was my go to person for the decorating. I received a great amount of compliments on our decor and am so blessed to have worked with such a passionate person who truly went above and beyond! Not only was Cherelle professional throughout the entire process, she is such a genuine person and made me feel like I was planning my wedding with a friend and just bouncing ideas off each other. She made the experience fun and it was so exciting to see the finished piece of art on our wedding day. Without using her services, I know my wedding would not have been as beautiful or even close to it. I highly, HIGHLY recommend her services. Even if you think it is not something you can fit into your wedding budget you will never know unless you ask. Thank you so much Cherelle and best wishes to you and your business!
Melody was so helpful in the planning of our florals and in the day of set up of our garland for our wedding! Everything looked wonderful and people keep telling us how much they loved our bouquets! My favorite part was the tiny pine cones she included in the groomsmen corsages!

Well what can we say about Rachel? She is amazing and to put up with my husband she also is patient and kind. She kept everything and everyone on a schedule we agreed upon. She took our ideas for decorating and made them beautiful well put together and it was a event our friends are still talking about. Rachael is the best coordinator around and u will not be disappointed with anything. Rachael is willing to go above and beyond to make your day special .
