- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first step would be to have you visit my online scheduling site, calendly.com/sunbreak/discovery, where you can schedule a complimentary consultation to see if we're a good fit to work together. Then I'll give you a call and we can have that introductory conversation or in-person meeting to explore your goals and answer any questions you might have for me. If it feels like we're a good fit to work together, we would also go over package options and schedule your sessions at that point.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have more than 1,000 hours of combined formal teaching experience plus countless hours spent working to maintain balance in my own life, with special attention paid to/expertise in practices that aid in stress management and feeling more at ease in one’s body. Continuing education is essential to my practice, as well; I’m currently studying anatomy and manual therapy techniques to earn my licensed massage therapy certification.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with many amazing yoga clients, some of whom are here on Thumbtack and many of whom are not. I especially enjoy helping busy people to manage their stress, prioritize themselves and begin to live their best lives. It's so gratifying to see clients progress---not just from a personal growth standpoint, but also so that they can begin to show up as their best possible selves for their families and friends, in their work, and in their communities. This is what yoga has done for me (and dropping 50 lbs. as well as fixing my poor posture after 10 years hunched over a desk in my previous career wasn't too shabby, either!) I would love to help you find customized wellness strategies that allow you to experience balance and ease in your life, too.
