Steve was friendly and professional, appreciated on both accounts. Our piano is a classic Bechstein Boudoir Grand of 1894, fully restored in works and cabinetry by a Dutch workshop. This fine instrument we entrusted with confidence to Steve for regulation and tuning, and he did not disappoint. The piano is of concert quality, and now concert prepared. Great job.Mar 8, 2019Verified

Steve was fantastic - arrived on time and made sure the piano was in perfect tune before he left. He even took the time to play for us, and give us a little information on the make of piano! Highly recommend.May 3, 2017VerifiedSteve Malloy Piano Tech.'s reply

- What types of customers have you worked with? Most commonly I perform professional Piano Tuning services, broken String repairs, Piano Action Mechanism rebuilding & Repairs of broken parts & Action components.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?Don't be afraid to ask alot of questions! That's precisely the reason I'm in business here is to answer those tough inquiries. I'd rather have you do that at first than to develop a bad case of "buyer's remorse" and have to regret that Piano purchase later. Shop around if you aren't loyal to one specific Brand of Piano; The same goes for questions about Tunings, repairs & Restoration service work..
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?Piano Tuning along with the Technical expertise utilized at each appointment or Job is an acquired Skilled Trade developed over many years, thereby costing the technician much time & financial outlay. Our neccessary compensation for each Piano appointment then is based on all those years of gained expertise.
