Nora did a great job of getting me out from under a giant pile of papers that I couldn't deal with. Soon it was sorted and either filed or 75% of it tossed! She gave me good tips on how to handle the filing efficiently, especially when there are items that need something done with them before I can file it away for good. Now I have a thin TO DO file that I can check on for what is pending. Then we moved on to organizing my home office, decluttering and organizing the shelves so I could get at the most used stuff in the handiest place. Piles of computer cables got whittled down to just what I use plus only a few spares in a box. Then we moved on to a dozen boxes of kitchen items that I never had actually unpacked since my last move. We laid everything out and went through it piece by piece and in no time 90% of it was in boxes she took to a thrift store. Nora has a way of patiently and gently making suggestions, while supplying a few options if I needed them. The speed of working together made it go from overwhelming to "hey, that wasn't as hard as I thought it would be"! I highly recommend Nora to anyone needing help in being better organized and decluttered. Thanks, Nora.

The concepts of simplicity and being organized have always seemed to be unrelated to me, however Nora's calming presence and uplifting demeanor immediately put my mind at ease and eradicated my anxiety about the clutter in my home. She helped me to realize that it is possible to find simplicity in the organization of my personal effects. Admittedly, I was a little embarrassed upon her arrival, but she is a true professional and any tone of judgement was completely absent from her cadence. Before I knew it, everything was in it's place as if it had been there from the beginning. Her organizing skills are unmatched and I cannot recommend her services enough!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Let's start with a consultation so I can see the space and understand your needs before we get started. Some spaces require working side by side while other projects I can tackle alone and bring you in solely for the "purge" part of the process. For most spaces, we (or I) will completely empty the space, sort, purge, and reinstall the items that are left. This means nothing is missed! I try to use organizational materials that clients already have but I am also happy to purchase some necessities so that the space is as functional as possible.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am pursuing a certification to become a CPO (Certified Professional Organizer).
