My cats took to Lisa immediately. This is the first time I have come home that my cat that struggles to eat when I am gone ate all of his food. She clearly has a love for animals and they love her in return. She very responsive and professional. I will be calling the Critter Sitter anytime I have to leave town. When I first moved to Spokane, I did not have many friends here at the time, but I needed a cat sittter for the holidays. I ended up throwing a large net on Thumbtack to find someone. This was when I was fortunate to find Lisa. When I met her in person, her enthusiasm for animals and pet-sitting was so eminent that I was confident in her ability to take care of my cat. Like most pet owners, my cat is like my daughter. Lisa provided me frequent updates on her visits and my cat to calm my nerves while I was away. Lisa stayed at our home with our dog and three cats. She did a great job taking care of them and our house. She did little extras too, like running the dishwasher for me. Very good, we recommend her and we will use her again!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Yes. It starts at 50, usually, for one pet. Each additional pet is 5 dollars more each (excluding fish.. a fish tank counts as one pet) It costs extra for outside watering, as that can take a lot of time. There are a few factors that would cost extra as well, such as special needs (a pet who needs medication etc).
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I would meet with the potential client, and their pets. See how the pets respond to me. And interview to see if both sides fit each others needs. I pay alot of attention to their pets, so they have a chance to get comfortable around me and used to me.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm considering taking some puppy training classes, and I'm going to take a Red Cross Pet First Aid Course soon.
