Your Voice

Introduction: I offer Spanish language lessons/tutoring. I also offer voice coaching, singing lessons, piano lessons and tutoring in reading and writing. My approach is that of a coach and mentor. I ensure that students can meet the goals set forth in our initial assessment. Let me help you find your voice and thrive! I have lived overseas in Spanish speaking countries, and I am fluent in Spanish although English is my first language. I sang professionally as part of several choirs and bands throughout my career, as well as serving as music director for the Coast Guard's MWR department in Petaluma, CA. Currently, I work as a professional grant writer here in Spokane, WA. The most important part of learning is to find one's place in the world. This is achieved through interaction with text, visual media, sound and with the teacher. I have a demonstrated ability to help other people learn to read music, literature and to learn a second (or third!) language. I am able to consistently help students to earn 100% scores on essays, book reports, and other forms of writing.
