Introduction: In one of the favorite books, Talent Is Never Enough, John Maxwell printed this quote, “My philosophy is that not only are you responsible for your life, but doing the best at this moment puts you in the best place for the next moment.” This is the personal motto I strive to live by both professionally and personally. Additionally, I gain great satisfaction from helping others succeed. I enjoy the challenge of taking complex information and creating an easily understood brochure or creating a public information campaign around an important topic with a call to action. Helping my clients create a clear and concise message is very rewarding.

Leisa is a long-time colleague of mine and is an absolute joy to work with. Her skills and experience as a communications professional span everything from developing overall corporate communications strategy, to crisis communications, media relations (including acting as an on-camera spokesperson), small and large-scale event planning and program analysis. Each day she comes to work enthused and ready for anything!

FAQs

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

I have enjoyed writing from a young age.

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

Newsletters, brochures, internal employee communications, email blasts, website copy, blogging, social media and cause related marketing such as promotion of literacy for young children and recognizing the signs of suicide.

  • Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I represented a seasonal company who only had a strong marketplace presence for six months. Linking with a non-profit, the company secured a partner with a Ford Dealership and the Fill A Ford for Fido and Frisky to benefit the animals for the Spokane Humane Society was born. This project will continue to grow each year bringing much needed food to the animals during the winter months and visibility for the seasonal company.
