Justin taught me to play guitar over Skype and it was a great experience. Starting to play as an adult wasn't easy, I was a complete beginner, but Justin has a great teaching style. He also sent me catered recordings that he created, so I could follow along and practice in between sessions. His explanations were very useful and thanks to his great presence, I truly enjoyed all the sessions.Mar 8, 2015
I had a great experience with Justin, he taught me useful things about mixing and recording and also playing guitar. I also remember the times where he taught me how to just jam and play along with a different person, which helps a lot if you plan on being in a band.Jun 29, 2014
Justin began teaching two of my kids guitar when they were 7 and 9. They are now 9 and 11 and learning songs by Nirvana (among others) and composing their own music utilizing bar chords. Justin is exceptional at collaborating with students to find music they want to learn in order to make the experience fun. We are so pleased that our 6 year old son just started lessons with him also. Justin has always been collaborative in finding lesson times that work for our busy family schedule and is always on time.Jun 20, 2014

- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Yes. I am constantly learning.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?I have played music since I was 16. When I was about 22, someone asked me to teach their son how to play guitar. He learned really fast, it was fun and I got immense satisfaction out of seeing him be able to easily and fluently play guitar.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?Talk to them first. See how personable they are. People learn when they are comfortable and having fun. When it is not like this it becomes a chore. Especially for kids.
