I became a client of John Jarman and Summit Strength & Conditioning in early September 2012; I chose Summit and John specifically for their expertise in physical training for individuals will strength deficits associated with orthopedic injuries. I had severely injured my left knee (severed ACL, PCL and MCL) while on active duty with the U.S. Navy years ago; and was never properly rehabilitated. When I began training, an effective strategy for conditioning and strengthening tailored to my situation was for was formulated. Working with John through 25 hour long sessions my strength, agility and endurance has improved and increased markedly. I will continue to train with John and will set new and higher fitness goals throughout 2013. I am seriously thinking about running the Marine Corps Marathon 10K in November 2013; given my age (60) and knee injury, this dream would have been well beyond my limits without the training and conditioning expertise of John Jarman & his team at Summit. I feel better, stronger and healthier as a direct consequence of my training at Summit Strength & Conditioning. I greatly appreciate and trust the professional experience and specialized knowledge of John and his staff. More importantly, I am thankful for their personalized approach and the genuine concern for their clients they bring to every session. The workout sessions at Summit Strength & Conditioning will challenge you. You will work during your workout at Summit. You will also see real improvement and appreciate the knowledge, dedication and personal touch that is art of the Summit Strength & Conditioning client experience. I cam to him to help me build a home routine after being inactive for 2 years. He was great! He was patient with me and, when we discovered how bad my balance was, he gave m exercises for that too. I have already let my coworkers and physical therapist know about him.Sep 18, 2013Verified
Coming up to my first year as a client of Summit Strength & Conditioning and it has been absolutely the best decision of my life. In the past year I have gone from a size 24 pant to a size 20, I have gained a lot of strength and stability and just feel plain better about myself. My BMI has gone from 50+ to under 39. The staff has been extremely supportive and knows just how far to push you and never makes one do something that you aren't prepared to do! - How did you get started doing this type of work?I was a PE teacher and football coach before getting inti this business. I love working with people and enjoy helping them get in shape and stay in shape
- What types of customers have you worked with?Summit Strength & Conditioning provides Sports and Personal Training for all ages. Our current clients range from 13 to 84 years old. All of our trainers hold a degree in a fitness field or a personal training certification. We are the ONLY TRX Group training center in the South Sound.
