I am so impressed with Tristate roofing. This is the first window purchase Ive done, and couldnt imagine the process being any more customer oriented. From start to finish I was pleased how well tristate handled my needs.Initially contacted from a door to door spokesman, I expressed interest in new windows and got a call a few days later. I told sales that I couldnt afford the windows now, but in the future I should. They said theyll call back in 6 months, and their call came no earlier. Told them I still wasnt ready, and to call back in a year. Tristate respected that wish, and called back a little over a year later. I still wasnt ready, but they offered a free estimate and walkthrough. The gentleman was very professional, very experienced, and thoroughly convinced me they had the best product. From the design to engineering, these are truly the most dependable and high quality windows on the market. The quote was still 25% too high for my budget, and told him I needed more time to afford it. They respectfully called me every 6 months to checkup for almost 1.5 years. I eventually got a significantly higher salary and could afford it. Next time Tristate called I said I was ready, another measurement and quote salesman came by quickly. They added my windows onto a huge commercial order, and the price was over 25% lower! After agreeing to the price and signing documents, installers (Mark) came out and did final measurements.A bit later the install was scheduled, Mark said over the phone it will probably take from 8-5, and maybe an extra day. This was alright by me. Once Mark and his team got to my house, they started right away and quickly installed all windows. They were finished before 3:30, very professional, and polite to my family. Mark even took the time to give a new homeowner valuable advice regarding other aspects of preventative maintenance my house needs. Very much appreciated to have priorities.

Let me start off by mentioning I live in BREMERTON. One of their door to door salespeople came knocking on my door on a Tuesday that I stayed home with one of my sick children. I politely explained to her I wasn't interested as I just bought the house and the previous owners had just replaced the roof. I thought it odd that a roofing company would go selling their service door to door like a Kirby vacuum, especially since it was a time me or my neighbors aren't usually home and I don't usually have people knocking on my door that I don't know. But she was wearing a jacket with the company logo and was very professional, so I didn't think much of it.About a month later on a Saturday, ANOTHER salesperson comes knocking on my door. He explains that they are in the neighborhood installing a roof. I explain to him my roof is still new, but he suggests that it might be helpful to have an estimator come take a look. Furthermore, he mentions that I could hang onto their information and call them in 3-4 years when I would need their services. At this point, I'm just letting this poor man do his spiel because I feel bad that he's working for a company utilizing an antiquated and ineffective sales tactic. I give him my information to set up an appointment for an estimator to come by later that week and he informs me that I will be receiving a call shortly to verify what he discussed. Okay no problem, he thanks me for my time and he is on his way. I get a call about 5 minutes later from his associate. She reviews the information I shared with the salesman a few minutes ago. We come to discussing the age of my roof, which is 2 years at most. She asks if I'm having any issues-- yep, you guessed it, no because it's still new. Her tone quickly changes to annoyed, and pertly tells me a roof has a life of 15-20 years. She promptly ends the call in a way that not so subtly tells me, "Thank you for wasting my time".TLDR: A roofing company based in Tacoma comes knocking on my door all the way up in Bremerton, not once, but twice. I fall for the hat trick the second time and agree to an appointment with an estimator, even though my roof is obviously new. I get a call back shortly after cancelling the appointment, because it would be a waste of everyone's time.Congratulations, Tristate Roofing, you are second to Comcast of companies I despise. Your people come knocking on MY door, then have the nerve to call me to tell me I'm wasting THEIR time. Next time you guys drop by, I'm letting my dog loose.

Hello sterling, Yes we do go door to door offering free estimates to surrounding neighbors as a courtesy when we are installing a new roof. The phone call you received was to make sure you were in need of a new roof and to make sure we would not be wasting each others time, if you did not need a new roof. As to the csr making you feel that you were wasting our time is not how they should have conducted themselves or the company. We do apologize for the way the csr conducted themselves and we hope you have a great day.

Agreed to get an estimate for a roof. Confirmed appointment with customer service on Friday for 2 PM Saturday - had to make sure that I cleared access to the crawlspace/ etc. Roofer no called/ no showed for the estimate. I set aside time on a Saturday and they didn't have the decency to call letting me know they couldn't make it.Customer service reached out 3 days later and I got passed to an agent who unconvincingly stated that the roofer's wife unexpectedly went into labor and that is why no one reached out to me. The customer service supervisor apologized but didn't demonstrate any responsibility or plan build trust past this experience and just kept trying to set an appointment for another estimate.I wouldn't recommend to anyone as they haven't demonstrated professionalism and didn't value me as a customer.
