My husband and I both started piano lessons (beginner level) with Tim about six months ago. We had previously worked with another teacher who was a good pianist, but not a trained teacher. The difference is impressive. Tim is friendly, supportive, and encouraging, He has taught us how to practice, not just what to practice. He is an excellent coach, paying attention to details (that really make a difference), instead of accepting pieces that are generally okay. Although we aren't natural musicians, we are making steady progress, and having fun doing it.
I have worked with Gust and Krystal of SMI for almost one year now. Krystal has come to our home every week for a piano lesson for our 4 and 8 year old. She keeps it interesting and lively and my kids are really enjoying playing music (which was our hope through all of this!) and they have learned so much. The fact that she comes to the house and provides a 30 minute solid lesson for my 8 year old and a more brief 15 minute lesson for my 4 year old is great (as that is about her attention level). I am happy to have found them and hope to continue for sometime to come!
Love this school! It's been great experience for both of my kids. We've been taking piano and guitar lessons for last 4 years
He is very patient in teaching.
Music teacher, woodwinds, guitar, keyboards, music theory, improvisation. First of all, Bob is one of THE most creative and energetic players in Seattle. His prowess on woodwinds, guitar, keyboards and other instruments is extraordinary! I have been studying music theory and improvisation from him for several years now. His instruction has literally taken me from beginner to a level of playing that far surpasses what I thought was possible. Not only is his instruction clear, intelligent and cogent, but he tailors his lessons for the individual at hand. He took the time to talk to me and see where I was musically.... He listened to me play and interacted with me and gave me confidence to move forward with ease... And it is this sense of confidence that I have achieved with Bob that has really made the difference for me. I highly recommend Mr. Antolin to anyone (beginner or seasoned pro)who is wanting to expand their knowledge of music, their instrument... to sharpen their chops and creative fire.
Danny has been our son's private saxophone teacher for the past few years and he is absolutely incredible. Not only does he have a musical talent will blow you away (we've heard him perform!!) but he is sooo good with kids. Those two qualities together can be really hard to find. He is sweet and patient with younger kids but also has a "coolness" factor that is appealing to my teenager. Logistically speaking (in terms of lessons), he is reliable, flexible, and reasonably priced. All in all, fabulous musician and incredible teacher. You can't go wrong here.
My son 14 year old has taken saxophone lessons from Tracy for four years. My other children have also had private music teachers, as have I, so years of personal experience backs me when I state Tracy is an excellent teacher that any student would be lucky to learn from. She hones in on her student's needs and is able to explain what should be happening in order to get the student to the next level. She does this while making lessons enjoyable. Tracy truly is the music teacher you were hoping to find for your music student. She has an unique blend of professional standards balanced with a warm friendly demeanor. Her constant creative mind makes lesson very engaging. In addition, her musical knowledge is extensive. She can answer any questions and steer her students in whatever direction they want to go. If you're looking for lessons this is it you found the perfect teacher in Tracy of Saxbomb Productions!
Great lessons for the whole family - our family has had piano lessons for beginner children (age 6), experienced children (12 and 15), to beginner adults! John is fun and engaging, keeps everyone motivated to practice and learn more.
Friendly and knowledgable, Larry was my piano teacher for over 5 years, but together we dabbled in voice, sax, guitar, and even a bit of drums. He tailored lessons to exactly what I wanted to do and how I wanted to do it. He can stick to the standard lesson plans, or adapt them to exactly what you want to learn. He's a good guy and a good teacher who gave me all the foundations to be confident in just about every aspect of music.
Keith is friendly, knowledgeable and demonstrates patience while teaching guitar to a 7 year old beginner. Our son is having fun learning to play and we like the convenience of having the lessons in our home.

I've taken guitar lessons from Tarik Bentlemsani for about 2 years. I had only a little previous music experience. Tarik is a highly accomplished musician; he has provided an excellent and comprehensive program for my development with encouragement, patience, and challenging pieces.

I have a classical background but play nearly every kind of music. I'm a founding member of Wally & The Beaves (an oldies variety show) and CJQ (fusion and jazz quartet). I am also the musical director for Danny Vernon and The DeVille's (Elvis tribute artist, and I am the musical director) and perform with The Hitmen (classic rock), The Edsels, The Billy Shew Band and The Soul Proprietors. I have performed with such artists as Arturo Sandoval, Stanley Turrentine, Ramsey Lewis, Louis Bellson, Ellis Marsalis, Keiko Matsui, Lee Oskar (War), The Drifters, and Don Wilson (The Ventures). I teach out of my home studio in Southeast Renton (Fairwood area). My students have won all kinds of awards, including scholarships to Berkelee School of Music, multiple outstanding jazz soloist awards, and superior ratings at solo and ensemble competitions. My focus is first on tone and then technique, but I like to get into ear training and improvisation when students are ready and interested.
I tutor students of all ages (mostly middle school and high school students) in academic subjects (science, math, writing, etc.) as well as provide tennis, soccer, and music (saxophone and piano) lessons.
