- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I give a quote based on $30 per hour. This is after a full consult about your project. I will contact customer if my quote is off by 1hr or more. At that point, additional time, over the quoted amount, is at $15 per hour. Crochet projects are on a per project price. Expect the price to be no less than $150. I may be fast, but crocheting takes a lot of time.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? We meet in person and discuss the project in detail. The customer sets a due date for completion. If I determine that the project is doable in that timeframe, I provide an estimate. The customer provides ALL materials needed before I begin. I provide the service of construction, not the sale of a product.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I had sewing classes when I was 8 years old. I've taken a few classes at Sew Expo in Puyallup, but I'm mostly self taught. I've also taught myself how to crochet, and mostly do Afghans.
