Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: My goal is to give genuine service at a fair price. I see a consistent pattern of pricing going up, and the list of services included going down. I do not believe in putting a limit on coordination hours on a wedding day. I do not believe in the bridal markup; Brides and Grooms work hard for their money! I do not believe in "that is not in my job description". I believe in doing anything and everything I can possibly do to make the day go smoothly. I believe in helping couples on an important day in their lives. I believe in being a genuine, caring person, who treats each client like they matter. I believe in going above and beyond as often as possible. I believe in helping other, serving others, and loving what I do. I love the end of an event when everything is winding down and everyone is so happy with the day. When I see guests and clients happy, it makes me happy! ♡

FAQs

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

I worked weddings for free on and off for about five years before I started my own company. I helped coordinate for friends, family members, and complete strangers. Because you do not need a degree to be a coordinator, and because I feel that weddings are important to those involved, I did not want to be a "here one minute, gone the next" coordinator that you often find posting online. I worked and worked and worked until I realized that I truly loved it enough that despite not making any income off of my 'trial period', I enjoyed all of the experiences I gained. I sent in my application for my business license, created my own logo, website, business cards, and flyers, and started marketing. :)

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

The most common type of service I complete for my clients is month-of coordination. This includes one meeting about a month before the wedding date to solidify and confirm the main points of the wedding day, and a second meeting about two weeks before the wedding to confirm ceremony details, and a long but helpful list checklist of details to remember. I direct the wedding rehearsal, and then spend an unlimited number of hours on the wedding day coordinating. I am usually the first one there and the last one to leave, and I love every minute of it! :)

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Make sure you feel like you can trust your coordinator. If your personalities don't mesh, and if you don't feel like they will be someone who genuinely cares, that you can definitely count on to be your behind-the-scenes fire extinguisher, crisis solver, and family peace-keeper, among many other things, then keep looking. You will find the coordinator that calms your nerves and allows you to relax and enjoy your day, knowing that everything will be handled.
