FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We generally get under most in pricing because I have no other employees, dispatchers, book keepers etc. my overhead is very low. We're currently sitting at $150/hr but I also offer flat rates for longer 3-20 hour jobs as an example which can knock some off of the price as well. Keep in mind gas and inflation of the price of parts. Price of parts has gone up maybe 25%?! Anyway, we hold on to most of the customers we bid, lets say 90%.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We don't walk through a property with a checklist and try to upsale the customer. The bid we give on a written estimate is firm so no curveballs minus blatant devastating unforseen issues but when we bid lets say 4 hrs on a job and it takes 8 hours, DO NOT expect a change in price other than parts.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All of the required time, training, yearly or bi yearly updates in training, ongoing testing, I worked for the local 290 union for a decade or so, lots and. lots of experience.
