I've come to the strong center since it opened. It's a pleasant private space. Those of us who are jocks can exercise without waiting for equipment to be free. Those of us who want to exercise without the embarrassment of displaying our out of shape bodies (me) get space, good equipment anda women's only space with equipment. The vibe is relaxed. There is a big yoga room for several types of classes. I'm reccomending David as the best personal trainer I've had in 15 years. He's as good as a Physical Therapist for injury rehabilitation.
Hien is really great at what she does. She’s very passionate and loves what she does so that makes her great. Her classes are very “relaxing” and peaceful. She looks around during class and sees how everyone is doing and if anyone needs extra telp like tera omfg and Hien tries to make everyone comfortable for example asking what the class would like to focus on today. She prioritizes what her students or those people want and make sure they kind of get wjat they came for.
I sought a yoga instructor with patience and humility. Lalainya is definitely patient, understanding, positive, & non judgmental. There are other instructors who expect you to be at a certain level of understanding already. As a new student, I find that she is not only understanding but also open to ideas. She welcomes questions as an opportunity to enlighten and share relevant thoughts about the integration of yoga in your overall daily life. If there is any position not held correctly, she will let you know right away. If you seek a knowledgeable, but humble instructor, you will not be disappointed when working with Ms. Rawlings. She listens to your needs, respects/acknowledges your limitations all while encouraging your exploration of self awareness and unlimited potential. This is only my experience and I'm pleased with the results. You will be, too.
Very applicable for people who never did Yoga before. Great Teacher, she was able to creat a unique atmospehre while having the class. Highly recommended
The best yoga teacher!
I've been taking yoga instruction from Gina both in a class setting & one on one for almost 6yrs now. As a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu practitioner, I know for a fact the knowledge I've gained from her has helped me immensely not only in my practice but also throughout my regular life. I consistently do the poses she recommends for me at home in between the times I can work with her. Her teaching method is very concise without being pretentious. I've recommended Gina to friends, family & colleagues without reservation for years & am happy to do so now. If you're new to your practice or have years of experience, you will benefit from her, guaranteed!
The BEST Personal Trainer I have ever worked with! I was lucky enough to work with Lynn for over 2 years (before moving to CA). I not only achieved my desired weight loss, but I was stronger and fitter than I had ever been. I felt empowered by this new found fitness and strength and that carried over into other parts of my life. Lynn was well organised, charting my progress with reports and giving me the data that showed how much weight I had lost, how much muscle I had gained and how many inches I had lost. Her program is tailored to each clients needs and abilities. Lynn knew about my dodgy knee, helped me strengthen it and made sure I never injured myself. I would highly recommend Lynn to anyone who wants a trainer that is totally focused on achieving your goals.
Josh is a generous yoga instructor who completely understands his students needs and comfort levels. He welcomes you with a warm smile, delivers gentle guidance when youre not hitting your mark and has an eclectic but fitting mix for music. The yoga was relaxing, but I was definitely sore the next day. He knows when a student is struggling or reaching the correct level and easily accommodates. Highly recommended.
I started taking yoga with Holly about a year ago. One thing that is immediately apparent is her love for teaching yoga to others. For her it is a lifestyle. She genuinely cares about what she does and it shows. Authentic.
I truly look forward to my weekly hour with Elizabeth. It is my chance to breathe, and break away from the worries and stress of my life. She is a sensitive, caring practitioner who knows how to balance your progress with your immediate needs. In addition to her yoga acumen, her meditation is also incredibly soothing. I consider her services mandatory for my mental and physical health. Highly and truly recommended by me. Thank you Elizabeth.
Chris is an amazing teacher! I have been attending her yoga classes for several years now and I find her instructions very easy to follow and very motivating. She is very patient with her students and she is great at encouraging everyone to focus on their body in order to get the maximum benefit from the class. She is always professional and punctual. She keeps everyone informed of the schedule and the cost of her classes are very reasonable.
Melissa is a fabulous yoga instructor! She is patient, encouraging, calming, and inspiring. Everything I could ever want/need in an instructor. I highly recommend her!
I took Jess's Restorative Yoga class and it was a great experience. Jess is an excellent instructor. She is patient and gentle, adjusting students positions in a quiet, unobtrusive manner. She seems very knowledgeable about anatomy and how yoga can address the specific needs of students. I have contacted her to set up a private home practice for me so that I can continue at home.
I focus on teaching accessible yoga as a “toolkit” to support emotional wellness and self-regulation for folks who live with anxiety, post-traumatic stress (PTSD), depression, and/or feeling disconnected from their physical bodies as a result of trauma. I also guide accessible yoga sessions for folks who are brand new to yoga, who want a gentle practice, or otherwise don’t feel comfortable in a class/group environment.
