Introduction: There is nothing more important in our lives than family. Creating a Legacy of ones life is a collection of experiences. Once a moment, a circumstance, a chapter in life passes, it is over. The pages of life do not stop turning for anything and they do not turn back. This makes every passing moment infinitely precious. There are two ways to cherish a moment. One is to enjoy it before it passes. The other is to capture it in your heart and look back on it when it's gone. What makes Photography by North Woods Studio unique is that we are dedicated to helping our clients do both by preserving these memorable occasions in your life with professional portraits. Meeting and working with different people. This keeps my work interesting. I enjoy seeing the joy on peoples faces when they see their photographs and creating portraits that will be treasured for years. I am kind of like an historian.

North Woods Studio photographed our son's wedding and did a superb job. We were all very pleased with Phil's quality work & professionalism. He also has done photography work for our children's confirmation classes at our church, and we have been very well-satisfied. If you are looking for integrity, excellent service & quality work at reasonable prices, this is the best!

My husband and I worked with Phillip in the 1980's, when he was taking Church Directory pictures for our congregation. He was an accomplished photographer even then, and he genuinely related to our chuch members, visiting briefly but effectively as he settled each one: LISTENING to their responses, and requests, to relax them. I've kept in contact with him and his family because we found him a genuine friend.

I've known Phil for over 32 years and worked with him when he started out in the family portrait business. Right from the start, he knew the importance of customer rapport and had an "eye for the details". His easygoing personality and dedicated work ethic is the reason he continues to be successful in today's very competitive portrait industry.
