Meeting and working with different people. This keeps my work interesting. I enjoy seeing the joy on peoples faces when they see their photographs and creating portraits that will be treasured for years. I am kind of like an historian.

North Woods Studio photographed our son's wedding and did a superb job. We were all very pleased with Phil's quality work & professionalism. My husband and I worked with Phillip in the 1980's, when he was taking Church Directory pictures for our congregation. He was an accomplished photographer even then, and he genuinely related to our chuch members, visiting briefly but effectively as he settled each one: LISTENING to their responses, and requests, to relax them. I've kept in contact with him and his family because we found him a genuine friend.

FAQs

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Depending on the type of photography service needed I do have a standard pricing system. I do not have a sitting or session fee for taking the photographs. I so have a minimum portrait order fee. This is determined by the type of photography services yo are having done.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to have customers call me to schedule an appointment to discuss their photography needs. this way I can give them a better idea on what I can provide and pricing.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been in the photography business for 40 years. During that time I have attended many professional photography week long classes, photography conventions with classes, photography seminars and view photography courses online.
