I have always regretted giving up playing guitar when I was a teenager. When my teenage son started playing bass in his schools jazz band I was motivated to see if I could play again. I struggling for months attempting to use the internet and learn on my own before meeting Ken Fought while he was playing at a friends wedding. I was so impressed with his artistry with the guitar that I scheduled lessons for both my son and I. Ken has helped rekindle my passion for music and continues to work with me in improving my skill and confidence in playing my guitar.
Terri is a wonderful piano teacher. She has been my daughter's teacher for almost six years. She loves music and shares that love with her students. She has an easygoing style, yet expects her students to do their best. She incorporates popular sheet music into their lessons so they don't get bored and they play lots of duets which help with counting and learning the music. I highly recommend Terri.
Guy Fiorentini has been my guitar teacher for several years... When I started, i knew nothing about guitar except I liked it. I have learned about music technically, and aesthetically and how to make music ... on the guitar! He has introduced me to many talented musicians as well as his own Milwaukee Hot Club... (awesome). There was/ is so much more to learn; rhythm, chords, ear training... especially ear training.. He challenges me at each lesson and the motivation is there all the time. I want to succeed and he motivates me to no end... A great teacher! A great person as well!!!
Eric was outstanding!! We booked him two days before the party. He took the time to review our requests and desired music. The one song requested for my husband he knocked out of the park! Eric welcomed requests and really made the audience feel a part of the music and the party. All of our guests contacted us after the party to say what a wonderful time they had and how much enjoyed Eric. Would highly recommend!
First of all… Michael is a genius. He plays as if he was in Carnegie Hall, performing. His spirit is so kind and gentle he is so patient with his students. My daughter was so honored to have him as her teacher. She literally felt as if royalty was coming to our house each time he came for a lesson. He was always patient with her always kind but he always challenged her as well. He was absolutely fantastic -- cannot say enough great things about him. If you hire him to teach piano in your home it will be one of the greatest experiences you could ever have.
Mr. Todd Richards is polite and professional, at the recording studio.
They were amazing. Flexible for our party and genuinely nice people. Everyone was so impressed! I can't wait to have another party and hire them again!! Gerald really understood what I was looking for. He arranged the perfect musicians and music. He made sure everything was great from the beginning to the end! THANK YOU!!!
My daughter has been going to Dr. Richie for approximately 3yrs now. Although I knew my daughter could sing, the personal instruction that she has received has been phenomenal. She went to state in Wsma as a freshman, and did well. As she continues her lessons, she continues to learn and grow with her voice. All in all, I'm thankful for Dr.Richie and that she has taught my daughter thus far. Shara
We would highly recommend Steve at Woodland Creek Music, he's been such a wonderful piano teacher for our 8 year old. She's been taking lessons for nearly 2 years. We participate in bi-annual recitals (with just his students) and federal piano competitions. He's easy to work with, professional, organized and such a fun and personable teacher!
He was very professional and a great musician. Would be great for dinner music/background music. Not as good for assisted living entertainment as this population did not "understand" his music.
He was a good teacher and taught me how to teach myself how to play music and practice. I definitely improved. I could have gotten much better if I tried harder, it was just that I wasn't very interested in music. However that is nobody's fault but my own.
This duo is professional, accommodating and very talented. We look forward to working with them some more in the future.
Paul Tadder is a compassionate and knowledgeable teacher in the way that he connects with the individual as much as the music in lessons that feel as though they are tailored to the student. Though he is well versed in many styles of playing and many genres of music he is able to meet a person at the level they are at to meet their goals musically and in technique with ample support and encouragement. Highly recommended for the beginner all the way to the seasoned professional.
Such an incredible learning experience! Every facet of musical theory, practice, and application laid out in complex simplicity.
Working with Michelle, to enhance my (toddler) son's music enrichment has been such a delightful experience. She is always charming and excited to work with him. And he has no idea he's learning early music theory; he simply loves the games she puts to music. I am extremely satisfied with our decision to start him early on; we have no doubt every chance to meet with her prepares him for future music lessons!
Lowell provided piano Jazz and Theory lessons for several years. He is an excellent teacher, and puts his heart into teaching. I have had a myriad of piano teachers over the years, most of whom are not engaged or invested in your future as a student. Lowell, however, caters the lesson planning to the desire of the student, not just where he thinks there is improvement needed. A personal example was how I wanted additional ear training. He worked hard to develop my musical ear, not just my jazz and theory knowledge.
My first lesson with Albert led me to believe that playing the piano is something I would like to pursue. He made it fun and taught me the key names in the matter of minutes. Thank you for showing me that playing the piano is just as enjoyable as listening to it.
With over 20 years of experience teaching individuals and groups from age six and older, I am thrilled to offer voice and piano lessons with an emphasis on equipping students to be the well-rounded musician. Whether you're just beginning or have experience but need some fine-tuning, lessons with me will be beneficial. Material includes theory and ear training and each lesson is specifically designed for each student to maximize the time in sessions. Even if you play another instrument and would like to get a feel of a duo setting, give me a call. My background includes blues, gospel, RnB, funk, pop and alternative.
