Carolyn is amazing! we did a board and train for our puppy that was very mouthy and he came home sooo much better in many different areas. We will continue to do some additional training sessions at our home for a couple other behaviors but we are so pleased with carolyn!Jul 12, 2018Verified
Just beginning but are very encouraged that Best Yet Behavior and Dog Training is the solution we are searching for :)Apr 5, 2018Verified
Carolyn was incredibly knowledgable about "all things dog"! She totally understood that we knew little about why we were doing things wrong with our dog, and she taught us corrections without making us feel stressed or stupid. We look ahead with confidence that Carolyn will make a huge difference in KoKo's and our behavior!!Apr 9, 2017Verified
Carolyn came to my home and did an assessment on an 8 month old Caine Corso Mastiff. I was very happy with her assessment and recommendations for training. She spent 2 hours doing the assessment and showing how positive reinforcement can change aggressive behavior. I will be working with her on a regular basis with my new dog!! She was recommended to me by a friend also needed to have a rescue dog evaluated. I would highly recommend Carolyn to anyone who has behavior concerns with their dog. She responded to my request very quickly and I was able to set an appointment up in less than 5 days.Oct 26, 2016Verified
Carolyn helped train our 12 week old puppy. She is very knowledgeable and patient. Carolyn trains using the clicker method and positive reinforcement. Would highly recommend. Thank you for your help!Jan 8, 2017Verified
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Fees will vary based upon the individual needs however session packages are available which bring down the hourly rate for private sessions.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?My certifying body does continuous education. I also do a great deal of studying and attending of seminars. I am most fortunate that my group is a global one and we communicate daily and will post challenges that have not responded to the typical methods...it's a wonderful support system.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?I began as a 4-H member raising Guide Dog for the Blind puppies and doing their initial training...its been a part of my life ever since.
