About this pro

How does your service stand out?

I am a full-time professional harpist - focused on my job! My lever harp is a Triplett Celtic and my pedal is a Venus Encore. Both are wonderful sounding instruments. I arrange all my own pop music and I play beautiful classics written for harp.

What do you enjoy about the work you do?

Both the interesting people that I meet and the wide variety of music that I perform. There is always something new to arrange for my harp.

Very professional, and an amazing vendor to work with! Serena did a beautiful job at my wedding. Everyone loved her music, and I highly recommend her! All I had to do was send her the address, she was dressed appropriately, and all set up on time! I highly recommend her!

Q&A

How did you get started doing this type of work?
I saw Gladys Hubner playing harp in the small orchestra that played in the center of the Agricultural Building at the Minnesota State Fair. I told my Dad - that's what I was going to do - play harp - all day long!
What types of customers have you worked with?
Most common is weddings, but a close second is corporate events - both as solo harpist or duo/trio. A well-played harp adds a touch of class!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
The more information I can have about the ages/interests of the people I'm performing for, helps me to target the music that I perform.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
I will not endanger my instruments!
