Lisa helped me to select new paint colors for every room in my home, she also helped me select a new stair runner, and she provided references to painters and other design professionals (reupholstery and window treatments). I worked with her for a number of years to complete the redecorating of our then 15 year old home, after we relocated here. I enjoy working with Lisa and would highly recommend her. She is very good with color, and I have not changed a single room color since I redecorated. Her paint selections all look great with our furnishings and gave our our home a very coordinated look.

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

My pricing is based on $50 per hour consultations. For larger more involved projects, a formal quote is provided with several options for service levels.

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

For Interior Design clients, most need help with color and furniture placement. They really don't want someone to come in and change everything, but to help them better use what they have and add to it where necessary. For Graphic Design clients, a thorough creative design brief is helpful to make sure you are hitting the marketing target.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

I think most people have good instincts about what they want. I would advise customers to find a provider that will listen to what they want and guide them to a solution, not tell them what they should want.
