I signed up for Angie's List for the first time on 10/26/2010 at about 2am and found Tim Bast on there under Bast Painting & Services and sent him an email telling him that my mom was looking to have some painting done after we stripped off the wallpaper and glue in her small bathroom. I told him she wanted the walls texturized with the sand in the paint or whatever they use for that and that she also needed some patchwork done from the previous painter's job from over 20 years ago that came off with the wallpaper in some places. I asked him to call my mom when he had a chance and he had already called her in the morning and scheduled an estimate at 11am the same day! Since it was extremely windy outside and he was in the middle of an outdoor painting job, he was able to fit her in the very next morning and was able to patch up the problem area, spray the texture on the wall, paint the entire bathroom, and also patched up the corners in the hallway and painted both walls for her. For such short notice, he did an incredible job for my mom and she will definitely use him again in the future. Thank you, Tim!

Tim painted about half of the interior of the house. This included the kitchen area, the dining area, the front room, a hallway, a foyer and a large hallway going to the basement. He did a lot of the preparation work including, crack repair and fixing some masonary cracks in the fireplace. He spray painted all the vents and registers. Member Comments: Excellent. He went out of his way to make sure everything was done to the customer's satisfaction. He was very easy to work with. He did not allow anything to slow him down. He did a lot of extra things that he really wasn't required to do. I had no problems or complaints whatsoever. He takes a great deal of pride in his work and it is evident in the results.

Tim painted our house on the outside last year and we have him painting our interior at the present time. We have always been very satisfied with his work. He uses the very best paint and does a quality job painting. His costs are reasonable and we have found him to be trustworthy and dependable.
