  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

    First of all, I am willing to work within any budget to make the client happy. Second, I keep close track of my time to ensure that I am not overcharging my client. Third, and most important, I want to be sure that my clients are happy. There are a lot of options on Thumbtack, and I want you to be happy that you chose me.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    Since the initial consultation is included in the cost, I like to do as much fact-finding as possible. What are the client's goals of the resume, have they had much luck with what they have, what is their field of expertise, are they well networked, do they utilize LinkedIn... I then try to identify what the client needs. If it's a simple resume, I will utilize my simple version which is engineered for search engine optimization. If the client is looking for more, I also offer a more visually pleasing document that I find helpful to take to interviews and networking meetings.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

    I have always been a strong writer, and that shows in my work. But, more importantly, I care about people and I truly love helping them. My greatest accomplishment is connecting a client to a potential employer and helping them get hired. If I can help a client get to their next role, then I've done my part.
