FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer a senior citizen discount. For seniors 60+ massages are $40/60 minutes and $75/90 minutes.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My first interaction with clients is during their initial phone call, email or text. After the introductions and answers to the client's questions, I will ask the client what goals they have for their massage, where their tension is and about any pain they might be experiencing. The next step is at the in-person massage appointment where I greet the client, and they fill out a one page client information form which I go over again with them before we start the hands on part of the massage. I step out of the room to give the client privacy while they disrobe to their comfort level and then lay down on the table as I had instructed before I left. The massage is integrative, and there may need to be more communication between the new client and myself for the first session or two in order to gain understanding as to the new client's massage needs. When the massage time is up, I inform the client before I leave the room to give them privacy to get dressed, and I ask the client to open the door once they are dressed. Once the door has been opened, I re-enter the room, and I ask the client how they are feeling. The client pays, schedules their next appointment, and we say our goodbyes until our next appointment.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I received my 704 Hour Massage Certificate from the Saint Croix Center for the Healing Arts in March of 2011, and I also obtained my Wisconsin Massage License in March 2011. I started my own massage business in July of 2011.
