Incredible chef & instructor/teacher! This was a surprise gift... I requested a higher end private chef dinner for my wife for a special occasion .... My wife is a scratch cook... When chef found out that my wife was a scratch cook and woukd be interested observing; he turned the personal chef experience into a cooking class that blew us both away! You have no idea how a true high end chef thinks & leverages their tools of the trade.... It is/was a learning experience my wife and I will ever forget... Chef is also very sharing regarding recipes and the like... And food is extraordinarily delicious for both of us; even though chef had to customize my dish due to a food allergy... I know that chef can cater; and will probably blow your guests away on any budget... And that using him for a private party of 2 with a "lobster" theme was expensive; BUT THE INTANGIBLES OF LEARNING TO COOK AND DINE AUTHENTIC GOURMET FOOD; MAKE THE EXPERIENCE PRICELESS! Chef is the best gift you can give your loved one(s) Hiring this Chef rivals any upscale restaurants' "chefs table" experience! Don't worry about your kitchen; he brings all the pots pans and the like.... If you have the means, you should put chef on your "bucket list" I will hire him again, wife's birthday coming up...
I was lucky enough to briefly work with Dennis Zidek and enjoy his innovative and utterly delicious cuisine while living in St Croix. He truly is an amazing chef who stood out on the island as one of, if not the best in his field! An easy 5 star rating and can't wait to enjoy his cooking once again.

I had the amazing opportunity to take vegan cooking classes presented by Sybyl. I will not forget the experience! I learned the importance of nutrition and how good produce plays an important part in the diet. I learned how to prepared and actually did prepare some great vegan dishes! Sybyl made it fun and easy! I will admit that I was a little overwhelmed, but the end result was worth it! Taking the classes with Sybyl has encouraged me to make vegan dishes at home and I am not intimidated by the whole process. The improvements I would suggest would be shorter classes and more organization, if possible. We made a lot of great dishes but there was information I missed because of the format. I am glad I took the classes; it has opened my mind and world to something I would have never been exposed to otherwise! Thanks, Sybyl!
John's cooking classes are so much fun! He has a way of making seemingly complicated and fantastic meals surprisingly easy. The classes I have attended were not only for adults but for children as well and he kept everyone engaged and eating well! He is the best!
Sandra has cooked for me twice and I can tell you, this woman knows her craft well! I am impressed by each opportunity I have had to taste her food. My first meal was a delicious collection of delectable ham, smoked turkey collard greens, corn bread, mac and cheese. I was in heaven. The ham was perfectly balanced (not overly salty), the collard greens had the right touch of smokey goodness with delightful chunks of turnkey meat and the mac and cheese...wow! Nice crispy baked goodness with smooth rich and creamy cheese goodness. The corn bread was the topper. I had to share with a friend so they could taste but then immediately thought, "I'll have to get more!" The second meal was a delicious spaghetti dish with garlic bread and a delicious salad. Wow again! The meat was in generous form here - a mix of quality ground beef and Italian sausage. I was in heaven! The sauce was delightfully balanced- flavorful and zesty but again, not salty! The garlic bread! I had to ask her how she made it because it was infused with flavor. Simply but delectable! The salad was not your lettuce and a few veggies affair. It was kale-based with chunks of apple, tomato, onion and many other favorites of mine. Truly, a dish that could be so bland and boring turned out to be another delight. Sandra asked me what I liked prior to cooking and did she deliver. Her use of spices is amazing. I keep going back to balanced and it is true. The flavor profile was amazingly great! I highly recommend Sandra. Not only does she deliver on the promise of making tasty food from the heart, she is a great teacher (she explained to me how to make the garlic bread her way) and she's a quality person. A delight on all fronts!
Tony is a fabulous chef! I hired him for a baby shower and everything was delicious, everyone raved about the food and there was definitly more than enough for everyone! I have aslo been to other events that he cooked for as well and never ever disapointed, lots of flavor and variety! I attended a cooking class as well and it was fun and learned more than just cooking recipes! Love love love him

In terms of her personal chef services, she is flexible and easy to work with. She is a genius at making healthy whole food meals without compromising taste and satiety. If you are looking to have an intimate, cozy cooking experience that allows you to cook healthy delicious food, you find the right place. We booked with Private Palate for a Bachelorette party. The owner Britta asked what we had in mind for the weekend. I told her our theme was a girls retreat; yoga and spa weekend. We were looking to cook healthy but decadent. She exceeded all of our expectations and came up with the perfect menu for us! Micaela was our chef she had charm, was very patient, nice and humorous! She had us start the night off with a signature cocktail which was amazing; Fresh Thyme Lemonade Vodka. She demoed how to make the drinks and poured all of us a glass; but before we could drink; she had us each share a special memory with the bride to be. We loved how personal and intimate she made our cooking class! We cooked four dishes -- 1.Minted Spring Pea Puree Crostini 2.Burrata. Green Juice Drizzle. Roasted Almonds. Scallion. Jalapeno. 3. Chicken & Shrimp Pillared topped with Zucchini Noodles and Ramp Arugula Pesto. 4.Local Purple Door Creamery Ice Cream with Rhubarb Strawberry Compote! Our meal was amazing, delicious, one-of-a-kind cooking experience. Thank you Private Palate we loved everything about this class! We really highly recommend to go with this private cooking class!!!
