My 4 star rating is only based on the food which was wonderful. From there it gets disappointing. Chef indicated he would arrive at 5:30. Food service was to begin at 6:45. Sous Chef James, arrived around 6:00 and indicated Chef Mancini was on his way. At approximately 7:00 Chef Mancini and a server arrived, still no appetizers on the table. In all fairness we did say we weren't in a hurry. Unfortunately that led to the courses being somewhat crammed together and we had to ask them to slow down. The soup came out while we were still eating the amuse bouche and I went to ask them to slow down again and found out that Chef Mancini was gone. I was told he had forgotten the potatoes and went to the store. The salad came out and somehow when the entrée came out with the forgotten potatoes, they were perfect as was the rest of the entrée. I went to ask them to hold dessert and found that Chef Mancini had left for another job in Chicago. He didn't stop to say goodbye, ask how the food or the service was and not once did he ask if we were happy with everything or apologize for anything. Very disappointed... Sous Chef James was very nice and personable and so was Chef Mancini for the little bit of time he was in our home. The server was very nice but very undertrained for a sit down dinner. When she first severed our wine had we not stopped her she would have filled my husbands glass, as it was the glass was more than half full and there were 6 other people waiting for wine. Overall the experience was not what I expected, it was disorganized, server was not prepared for the job she was expected to do, the Chef we paid for was almost non-existent, but the food was very good. .
nothing to recommend but just to share my story. --- Fact evaluation: Progress tracked by Matt Johnson Trained by Marcin Grobelny (instagram- @grobelnym) Training Time - October 2016- June 2017 Training Intensity- three hour per week Aim- slim down, lose fat and lose weight. Life Outside Training (when I do not have session with trainer)- cardio (cardio), and 17 running races plus 1 bike event in 9 months (how I spent my lazy weekends). Life Outside Training (reality)- a Mon- Fri job that sit in front of the computer 9-6, sometimes weekday OT till late night, or might take my weekend too. Results- more toned up, people no longer say "it seems like you are a little bit less chubby" but "you look slimmer", ~5% fat ratio down. --- This week marks my last week with Chitown Trainer, it has been a very very great 9 month with Marcin that I did not only learn about workout move but also the psychological, health and nutrition, workout and recovery chapters that is totally a bonus to me. Marcin has been my very first friend in town and probably one that I meet most frequent out of all these time. I learnt about his education, and I believe his academic background and body building experience has made him a very unique trainer because he had been educating me in a all-rounded manner. As time goes, I started to learn more about my body and my mindset, as well as the key to stay consistent and balance through out my days. I eventually train harder and more frequent; and be more honest with myself about the diet and I have dropped my fat ratio through all the months. One thing that I did not expect to happen, is that I actually improved from 32min/5k to 27 min/5k in less than 4 months' time. I did not pick up any running training, I enjoy food fest in the new year, I had deep dish and (quite a lot of) cheat meal, but still, a 5 minute improvement in such a short distant run are actually all from the hard work from weight lifting with Marcin. I used to fear leg day as I started because lower body training back in middle school basketball time has bulk me up so much. However, now I start to love my leg days more -- and as a result I am getting a little big addictive with running as well, which I used to think it is super-very-extremely-so-boring. With the encouragement form Marcin, I actually run more than I thought I would. Counting back the weeks, I have nailed 18 city-events in 9 month's time. Given that Chicago is not my home city, this is definitely a life time PR. Meeting Marcin has definitely become a motion to get up early as we train at 0530 most of the time. As I am leaving Chicago, I would look forward to meet Marcin again with a more toned body to show off how I am able to apply things I learnt from him and all the hard work I put in even I am out of the country. --- Thank you Marcin!! :)
Prior to working with a trainer I read a lot of exercise books. I watched inspirational movies. I had gone through several gym memberships. I even went to the gym but found myself doing the same exercises with very little results. I weighed 286 lbs. I felt hopeless. Two years ago I began working with Patrick Durbin. I got results. I lost 112lbs! While in Patricks group classes and personal training sessions I learned the tools to lose weight, build muscle, eat healthy, and feel better. I now have the guidance, support and a network of people whom I feel comfortable sharing fitness successes and struggles with. Many times after class we discuss with Patrick healthy recipes/tips with each other as well as upcoming races and events. In his group classes, we all come from different fitness levels but our goal is the same, to be healthier. Patrick is a master at orchestrating a challenging total body workout in a fun environment. His exercise routines keep my body guessing. Ive tried many different things to find happiness in life. For me, starting with an exercise program and then learning proper diet and nutrition has mentally transformed my life into a more honest and joyful dimension. There have been many people who have helped me become who I am today and I owe a huge debt of that to Patrick Durbin. Thank you!

I have used Chef Aram Reed for 3 dinner parties in the last year and have alway been extremely impressed by the food and the service. The food is extremely delicious and elegantly displayed. By the end of the night, it seems like all my guests want to know the name of my caterer. Aram also brings well trained helpers who seem to be able to read my mind on what needs to be done before, during and after the party. I highly recommend Chef Aram and his team!
I have been working with Josh for about a month and a half now. I have had nothing but a positive experience. He is a no-nonsense kind of guy who is there to help you meet your goals. He already knows what my strengths and weaknesses are. Josh knows when to push me and when to back off. It's super convenient that he comes to my house too. Josh has really helped me work on changing my mindset about food as well. I've had to reschedule a couple of times due to other commitments but Josh was understanding in providing some other times he had available that I could choose from. I look forward to my workouts because Josh is always changing it up and I never do the same routine twice. I was working out on my own for a long time with little or no results and needed a change. Josh is definitely the change I needed. I highly recommend him!
My experience working with Carol was amazing. The food was fabulous, the service outstanding and the overall experience was top notch. We hired Tracy to help out with our dad's Disco themed 70th bday party & we were very pleased with her service as bartender, food management and clean-up. She was punctual, timely with our communications, flexible and demonstrated great work ethic. The Best was I asked if she could come dressed in 70s attire and she came in dressed as Cher, with disco ball earrings. All of our guests loved her, she totally was the coolest bartender and even went about and beyond bringling life to the party when she brought out delicious shots to pass around and cheers! We would definitely re-hire her again for our future large celebrations! Thanks for the Awesome memories Tracy!
Kristen catered a small, intimate dinner for myself and some friends. She was on time, professional, and all the food was amazingly prepared and presented. Can't wait to have another event so she can cater for us again.

Chef DiMaria made a golf group of 10 a WONDERFUL dinner. The menu consisted of antipasto, salad, lasagne, chicken vesuvio, and cannoli. Wine and Sambuca was included in the price. The food was FABULOUS!! Frank did all of the clean up. It was a great way for a group to have a casual evening of fine food and socializing. It was one of the many highlights of our trip. I would do this again in a heartbeat.
Sam is an awesome trainer! He will provide you the knowledge, motivation and encouragement you need to get results!! Sam also has a vast knowledge on nutrition, explaining the foods you should and should not eat to change your lifestyle. Rebecca is a delightful individual, personable and friendly. She is an excellent chef! She arrived when she said she would, served dinner at the agreed-upon time, and accommodated special requests. Her service was wonderful, and the food she prepared was fabulous--delicious, beautifully presented, and all the finest ingredients. I highly recommend her and hope to have her prepare dinner for us again soon!

Dylan is committed to providing the best fitness and nutrition plan that works for your body and your needs - definitely not a "one workout plan fits all" mentality! I needed to adjust my type of workouts to hit specific fitness goals and asked Dylan for help in creating the right training plan. In every training session he provides knowledge on why certain movements active certain muscles and tips on how I can best maximize each movement. He's also knowledgable in proper nutrition based on my goals. Plus, he's super responsive whenever I have a question. In my time working with him, it seems he really cares about building great professional relationships with his clients so that they can all reach their goals.

I started following Mila Rascon's nutritional advice about 6 months ago and the results have been amazing. I've lost about 20 pounds from 195 to 175 but more importantly my health has improved. I'm a chron's disease patient so my blood work is monitored every 3 months. My cholesterol is now in the normal range and my liver enzymes which have been elevated for many years are now in the normal range. I highly recommend her services.

I am very glad that I had the chance to work with Olivia. She really helped me turn myself back in the right direction. She is one of the most positive people I've ever met but was still able to listen and understand when I wasn't feeling quite as positive about myself. Olivia gave me thoughtful recommendations and always remembered my peculiar allergies and preferences. She helped me from feeling too overwhelmed with significant but manageable goals in a way that made even me believe that I could achieve them. She holds an extremely important place in my story and in the way I continue to approach food choices and life in general.
