He explained everything very good and after 1 hours lesson I learned a lot of new things. I could notice a difference after the lesson. It was amazing. He is very nice and polite and he has an amazing voice. Generally a very good teacher and I would recommend him to other persons.
Taking voice lessons with Michele for just over 8 weeks, my range has expanded and I'm gaining control. Michele is patient, encouraging and knows which exercises help me the most. Always on time & willing to give a little more. Thank you, Michele!
Josefien is a premier vocal coach with all the right knowledge and skill to sharpen a student's abilities. I am very much looking forward to continuing my vocal lessons with her!
I loved my time with Rachel as my teacher! She is hilarious and kind, but also can always find room for improvement. Her song choices were fun, but she also is open to students picking songs. She specifically helped me with my problem of tightening up on the high notes. She is very accountable - definitely the most reliable voice teacher I've had. I've been taking voice lessons since I was five years old and started taking from Rachel when I was 20 and going to Northwestern University. Graduate students there have the opportunity to teach non-voice major singing lessons. Some of the teachers are clearly not into it, but Rachel approached the job with enthusiasm and compassion for her students. She even helped me find local auditions that she thought would suit my voice and helped me schedule and primp for my headshots. To give you an idea of repertoire, we worked on a good mix of classical and Broadway (and a lot of Broadway classics!). She also arranged a performance opportunity for us - a recital at her local church. I should also note that Rachel's piano skills are certainly up to par. I don't think she performs piano solos, but it was more than enough for our lessons. Of all my voice teachers, Rachel has been my favorite (and I have had five). I would highly recommend her to anyone. You would be lucky to study with her!
This year, our daughter won first place in the Chicago Chapter National Association of Teachers of Singing (CCNATS)’ High School Division 1 Vocal Competition! At Elizabeth’s suggestion, she also auditioned for the Anima Chorus of Glen Ellyn, and sang a solo with them on WFMT’s Saturday Broadcast of Introductions. Elizabeth is truly an amazing teacher! She explains everything very well and never leaves a question unanswered. Our daughter, Brianna Dulock, has received nothing but compliments from other experienced professionals […] It is impressive how much information Elizabeth can fit into one lesson. Thank you, Elizabeth, for the high quality of your voice lessons, and for giving our daughter this amazing voice.” — Rose Figuero Dulock, Stone Park, IL
Very welcoming fun little spot. Best part of playing music is playing with others so you can't go wrong having both the options of unlimited lessons along with a group to play with and jam.
I have been taking singing lessons from Elaine for a few months now. She is a really great teacher! I can't say enough positive things about her. I was always too nervous to get voice lessons, so my lessons with Elaine were the first time I received voice training. I'm so glad I decided to take weekly lessons as we work with great classical pieces. She has brought out aspects of my voice that I didn't know existed. I sing a lot when I'm out and about and I've gotten so many complements on my voice since taking lessons. We started with the basics since I had never had lessons before and this was really helpful for me. We have advanced quite quickly and I learn more about my voice each lesson. I have also developed confidence I didn't know I had regarding my voice! Elaine also has a beautiful voice that I could listen to all day! She is a very kind person and genuinely cares about her students. I would definitely recommend her to anyone from beginners to advanced singers.
My daughter has been going to Dr. Richie for approximately 3yrs now. Although I knew my daughter could sing, the personal instruction that she has received has been phenomenal. She went to state in Wsma as a freshman, and did well. As she continues her lessons, she continues to learn and grow with her voice. All in all, I'm thankful for Dr.Richie and that she has taught my daughter thus far. Shara
My son loves taking piano lessons with Ms Kim!
She is a wonderful voice teacher! I grew up singing but never had private lessons or achieved the strength or range that I wanted. I remember leaving my trial lesson with Allison feeling like I was really hearing my voice for the first time in ages :) I highly recommend her as a teacher because she gets to know you and teaches you in a very tailored, individual way. She is also very supportive and encourages her students to get out, perform, and use the skills she has taught. And she hosts an annual recital for all of her students to perform for their family and friends, which is a lot of fun. Definitely worthwhile for any age range or skill level!
As a singer I was not breathing properly and Jill brought out the best in me. I have been able to sing much more effectively as a result of her instruction. Phrasing was always an issue because I had poor breath support and after only a few lessons I was singing like a pro.
Sandra is such a knowledgeable, kind, and talented voice teacher. Her lessons are very personalized which shows she pays attention to her students and can tell what works for them. Her lessons are fun and in the year I have worked with her my voice has improved tremendously. She pushes you and truly wants you to succeed. Definitely one of the best vocal teachers I have worked with.
Enjoyable First Lesson. Made me feel very comfortable.
Linda is not only talented, but she is able to inspire my son to work harder and want to play the piano. She has so much patience and energy for working with kids. My son actually said he would only take piano lessons if he could have Ms. Linda is his teacher!

I worked with Eric while we were in school together in Miami. I'm a musical theater singer and was having issues working on belting. Eric is an excellent voice teacher and was really great at helping me get my best sound out. He's also a fantastic singer himself, so it was great to sing with him in our lessons!
I found Meagan on Thumbtack and she has now been my voice teacher nearly three years. She's incredibly patient, knowledgable, fun and did I mention PATIENT? I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a solid voice teacher.
My daughter has really enjoyed taking vocal lessons from Hayley. She puts a lot of emphasis on technique and emotion. She has helped my daughter learn the importance of rhythm and pitch before learning the lyrics of the song. Hayley has been a wonderful teacher and has helped my daughter grow as a vocalist.
I teach piano and voice to students of all ages. I have worked with children, starting at 3 years old, up to professional-working adults. Music is a beautiful way to express yourself, and once you learn it, it will stay with you as something you can enjoy for years.

I have a bachelor's and master's degrees in music performance in voice, and I have quite a bit of performance experience, including several leading roles in operas. However, I believe that the fundamentals of good singing are the same in every genre, and I will be happy to work with you in whatever style of music interests you the most!
